The mountain pine oil distillery "Georg Thaler" is located in San Martino in the Sarntal Valley (South Tyrol). The oils we offer are natural essential oils without any preservatives or other chemical additives.

In our South Tyrolean mountain farm in the Sarntal, South Tyrolean bacon is produced in our agricultural production as it was 100 years ago for the benefit of the animals.

Alpine Kingdom

Our products are exclusively made from the wood of the Queen of the Alps - the pinewood - which is found on alpine terrain, above the tree line and which is felled by the waning moon. Carefully handcrafted, the moon wood is used to produce Silvador - products from pinewood.

In the third generation, this centuries old craft is cultivated in the quill embroidery Thaler. The artistically embroidered with quill pen "Sarner Geldtaschen", traditional belts and other products are known and loved far beyond the valley. Each piece is unique and in order personally made for the customer. Sting by stitch with the awl creates a piece of personality on the finest cowhide, calfskin or goatskin long life. The quill embroidery Thaler relies on high quality materials. Uniqueness in design and best craftsmanship.

The locksmith Moser from South Tyrol, Sarntal Valley, is a family business in 2. Generation and has been committed to the high quality machining of various metals for over 30 years apart.

The courses on offer from the Reinswald ski & snowboard school include both group and individual tuition as well as competitive racing tuition in the various disciplines. Our instructors are vestid with blue-white ore red-white dresses.

From the natural sheep wool we create many unique products. Here you will find the genuine Sarner Jangger and handwoven sheep wool carpets. For healthy sleep, we sew beds and pillows with soft wool filling and make cozy wool blankets in natural colors. In the second generation, we burn 100% pure natural mountain pine oil in organic quality here in Reinswald in the Val Sarentino/Sarntal Valley. Started by our parents Flor and Barb, we carry on this ancient tradition in a valley that could not be more original, where farms are farmed, the costumes worn
and the customs lived on, with much joy and dedication.

When carving I become one with the wood. The log itself is already a work of art that holds the figure in itself. My model and the wood form a unity, are together the artwork.

The Plattner farm house in Costalovara is more than 600 years old. The Gramm Family, a mercantile family from Bolzano, has carried out an exemplary restoration of it liaising closely with the provincial historic preservation agency and so, also because of its unique location, it is one of the most picturesque farmsteads in the region. Today it accommodates a bee-keeping museum that illustrates in a lively and vivid way the sweet art of making honey. The magnificent Plattnerhof is the largest private collection of South Tyrol’s beekeeping and it is also a monument of rural architecture and savoir vivre. A nature trail on the picturesque hill near to the house explains the world of bees to visitors.
