    The biotope relaxing zone is frequently visited by young and adult guests that appreciate the three ponds, a lawn with showers, a bar with restaurant and a children's playground.

    The small lakes are divided into pond, children's pool and regeneration pond which was built separately, to ensure the protection of the regeneration zone during bathing season. The pond is purified mechanically, but most of all biologically.

    AVIA – Lumberjack Trail from San Genesio village centre to Avigna, and on to the Mezzavia in the Sarentino Valley.
    9 interactive stations themed around timber felling and wood processing and the prehistory of the village of Afing will be inviting visitors of all ages to embark on an enthralling journey of discovery.

    The Talvera river runs through the city of Bolzano. The water course originates from the Sarentino Valley and its banks are home to beautiful green lawns, recreational parks, long walks and modern cycle routes. This is the green lung of the city and a popular destination for both tourists and local residents that provide rest and relaxation to those strolling along the tree-lines paths as well as fun for the younger ones in the playgrounds. There are also many sport facilities in the area which attract football, baseball and softball lovers. The Druso, Talvera and S.Antonio bridges are the three main links over the stream, but there are also some footbridges allowing for short or long round trips, on foot or by bicycle.

    The playground is a pleasant place and a popular meeting place for children and parents.
    While the little ones let off steam on the slides, carousel and net swing and compete in balance games, the adults can chat and share their experiences.

    Almost at the entrance of Vilpian is a recreational area with a field for volleyball and soccer.  A playground, a table tennis and a few tables make this area an ideal place to rest, snack or for children's parties.

    There are two public playgrounds in Marling. One of them is directly alongside the fairground (A. Pattisstrasse), whilst the other is a little lower down on Tiefackerweg. The playgrounds are open from 8 am to 10 pm. Animals are not permitted to enter the playgrounds. In addition, unnecessary noise should be avoided, particularly during the lunch hour between 1 and 2 pm.

    This playground in the countryside is a pleasant, shaded and very natural place - ideal for every season!

    The children stand next to a lot of freedom in nature, play equipment available. The playground is only accessible by foot (15 minutes walk from the village center).

    Deer Park Sompunt
    Badia, Dolomites Region Alta Badia

    The Deer Park “Sompunt”, between La Villa and Badia includes more than 7 hectares of meadows and forest where more than 30 species of deer and fallow deer live together in harmony.
    The park can be easily reached by car, bus or by foot.

    Starting from the hut “Paraciora” and following an easy marked path, you can admire these wild animals living in uncontaminated nature.
    The path is approx. 1 km long.

    The route is indicated by arrows and information boards on which you will find some information about the park and its majestic inhabitants. The trail is also suitable for trekking strollers.

    • Every Tuesday from 1st July till 1st October from 10. 00 a.m. until 11.00 a.m. you can visit the Deer Park with the owner. Meeting Point is the hut “Paraciora”. The visit is free.

    Our Park offers a playground for children and there are also ponies, donkeys, rabbits, ducks, chicken and goats to see.

    In the sports area of the ball court was complemented with a play tower. This playground is especially during football matches of all children ages availed.

    Kneipp-treading facility at the Schalderes Creek with water treading site, children playground and large lawn. Treading water in cold, flowing water in open nature has a toughening, circutation promoting and stimulating effect. A stream of power of original nature for weakened life spirits of modern mankind. A unique experience for body and soul.

    The "Kneipp facility" area is also accessible in winter, but the Kneipp path is dry.

    Burglehen Park

    Nestling in orchards and vines, Burglehen Park on the outskirts of Dorf Tirol/Tirolo offers fabulous views of the surrounding area and is perfect for relaxing and idling for a while. There is a beautiful playground for children within the park, which, in addition to slides, swings and climbing frames, offers a truly special attraction – Jakob the horse. This steel horse was built by the famous South Tyrolean artist, Franz Messner, and is dedicated to all the children of the Earth.

    A natural monument - the dripstone spring in the Burgum valley

    Along the stream near the hamlet of "Burgum" you can hear the whisper of one of the most beautiful natural monuments in the region. When the sunlight shines on it, uncountable cascades of a filigree waterfall shine in numerous beautiful colours. Between the cascades a dark olive-green moss grows, saturated with crystal clear and fresh water. It is tough to decide from which angle you have the best view of the waterfall. A few years ago, this spring waterfall was placed under conservation and is now a natural monument that should not be missed. Take the chance and come to rest and dream in this magical place. This natural monument can be found in the wooded Burgum valley on the way to the hut “Sterzinger Hütte” on path nr. 2.

      • € 15,00 for one single route
      • € 22,00 for routes, also different from each other
      • € 6,00 for every further route, up to max. € 35,00

    The summer-time adventure land for the entire family
    At the SummerPark La Crusc, children can embark on an exciting adventure. There is also plenty to amuse older visitors such as panning for gold, paying a visit to the dragon cave, or engaging in a funny marmots’ battle.

    The popular giant chairs made of wood as well as the hut with photo exhibition are also perfectly integrated into the SummerPark. The theme of the photo exhibition will change each year and in the hut there are books where you can fine a lot of information about the exhibition theme.

    The SummerPark La Crusc is located directly at the top station of the La Crusc 1 chairlift and thanks to its ideal position it is kissed by the sun from morning to late afternoon. The circuit leads visitors past two mountain huts.

    While the children are playing and having fun the parents can relax at the feet of the Sasso Croce mountain.

    Each attraction of the SummerPark is symbolically connected to a Ladin legend of the Fanes Kingdom. For this summer the fourth book has been written, it tells the adventures of kings, princesses and knights in a mystical and fantastic world in the magical Dolomites landscape.
    You can get these books at the SummerPark for free. While reading, you will travel into the past discovering the mysterious sphere of the Ladin legends.

    The theme trail “In the footsteps of wild animals” also starts at the SummerPark and leads to the Lech Dlá Lé alpine lake, which has been declared a “Natural Monument”. Along the flat trail you can take part in a treasure hunt and stamp collecting game, with a reward for the winners at the end.

    The Rofis Boden in Stilfes near Sterzing is one of Freienfeld's natural gems. A few minutes' walk above the center of Stilfes leads to a large clearing right in the middle of the forest. There you will find a small natural pond, extensive green meadows, a barbecue area, a pavilion and a playground made of natural materials.

    Along the Bahnhofstraße at the intersection with Hörtmoosweg there is a park for the games with a ball and with various play equipment. It is an ideal place to play ping-pong, board games or have a snack. 

    The playground is managed by VKE - Sec. Siebeneich and F.C . Siebeneich.

    A cozy themed trail for everyone, leads trough for meadows and forests. From San Genesio over the Salten until Tschaufen will have 9 play and activity stations and interesting information
    boards around Haflinger horses and larch trees.
