The festival for the whole family! For the 18th time in 2025, Schluderns will be the ideal setting for the South Tyrolean Knights' Festival. In the historical ambience of Churburg Castle, Lichtenberg Castle ruins, Fürstenburg Castle and Marienberg Monastery, spectacular show battles will keep the spectators in suspense from 22 to 24 August 2025. Come along on a journey to the Middle Ages! Proud knights take aim at their opponents. They dash into battle on their elegant horses, lances burst, armour clatters, the noble lords crown their victor. The crowd cheers and marvels at all kinds of exotic and curious things. 2,000 performers from 11 countries offer the most extensive programme in the Alpine region! All attractions on the grounds are free of charge: Shows, camel and donkey rides, archery, children's tournaments, petting zoo, carousels, children's entertainment.

A ‘borderless’ cultural and musical experience in the border triangle! The Venosta Festival event series puts culture centre stage. With various acts and performances from the border triangle of South Tyrol, Austria and Switzerland, the cultural diversity and solidarity of our regions will once again be showcased. After the Swiss pop artist Beatrice Egli opened the Venosta Festival Series 2025 on 30 May, we are delighted to welcome the band LaBrassBanda to the festival grounds in Glurns on 6 September 2025, against a breathtaking backdrop. P A L A P E A R M A R K E T At the themed market in Glurns, you will find a unique assortment of products related to the tasty and above all healthy pear variety. Pala pear dishes are prepared in the ‘Schaller’ courtyard under the arcades. The Glurns theatre group stages Pala pear sketches - musical accompaniment with Sophia Sagmeister and Maria Dangl.

The time has come, our live cooking show “Glurns Koch” will take place again this year on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The show will be held as a part of the “Palabiratage” in the town hall Glurns . The focus is on South Tyrolean cuisine – above all the “Palabirne”, our local producers, restaurants and the great personalities behind them, who will conjure up culinary delights for you. Market stalls and live music, that creates an atmospheric ambience, will accompany the cooking show. With the following tasting, there is nothing left to desire – we are looking forward to your visit!

P A L A P E A R S U N D A Y Sunday, 21.09.2025 Pala pear Sunday concludes the Pala pear days in Glurns. For many years, the event has been organised with great success by the volunteer fire brigade of Glurns. After the Holy Mass and the procession, people meet at the new festival area ‘Glurns Festival’ to celebrate the harvest of the Pala pear.

The Taufers market - small, cosy and good The traditional autumn market in Taufers in Münstertal is back. It will take place again on 11 October 2025 at the Fliri Dane square in the village centre. The Gollimarkt is a traditional market that takes place on October 16 (St. Gallus' Day) in the center of Mals. The Gollimarkt was established together with the Georgimarkt in 1642 on the occasion of the elevation of the village to a market town by Archduchess Claudia de' Medici. This year the colorful autumn market offers farm products, handicrafts and art!

Every Wednesday between 8.30 am to 12.30 am, the pedestrian zone and Peter-Glückh-Platz in Malles/Mals bustle with activity. Fresh local produce, such as fruit, berries and vegetables, cheeses, bacon and bread types, jam, vinegar, juices and herbal teas, are always available for sale at the market. There are also craft and handicraft products made of stone, wood or felt for sale, as well as textiles, leather goods, plants, and equipment of all kinds for house and garden. From June to September, the market is held together with the farmers' market in the pedestrian zone, where producers from the area offer bacon and cheese, fruit and vegetables. The surrounding guesthouses and restaurants offer special dishes to the respective market focus.

It's time again for the Farmers' Youth Ball in Taufers in Münstertal! On Saturday, 25 October 2025 from 20:00 it starts! The ball takes place in the school gym in Taufers i. M. Typical for the Farmers' Youth Ball is the appearance in Dirndl or Lederhosen! You can find more information on the Facebook or Instagram channel of the "Bauernjugend Taufers i. M."

The "Laatscher Morkt" is a traditional autumn market in Laatsch near Mals. Products from local farmers, craftsmen, artists and many more. With cheese, chestnuts, clothes, as well as cabbage, bread and goulash. And there are animals too! With lots of music and accordion players, there's plenty going on! Come and see for yourself!

8th Krampus show run of the ‘Tartscher Bichl Tuifl’ The time has come, the sun is setting and the time of the spooky creatures begins. The Krampus show run of the “Tartscher Bichl Tuifl” finally takes place again! 40 groups from Austria and South Tyrol will give young and old goosebumps. Date: 15 November 2025 Location: Tartscher Bichl Hill Afterwards there is a Krampus party with various DJs. Food and drink will be provided!
