In South Tyrol, the Passeiertal Valley and especially the Hinterpasseier Valley is one of the valleys with the most water. For this reason, more than 22 power stations for sustainable energy production have been built in the Hinterpasseier Valley for about a century. One of the oldest is the power station in Rabenstein, which you can visit and explore. The guided tour offers unique insights into the power station and shows how water converted into electricity. Join beekeeper Michael every Wednesday at 4:00 PM for an unforgettable journey into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping. Open a beehive with him, take a selfie with the queen bee and sample fresh honey straight from the comb—if you're feeling brave! This is followed by a tasting of over 10 different specialties made from and with honey. Some of his award-winning products are not only healthy, they are real palate ticklers. Bee tours are available from early May to late September every Wednesday, or by request outside of these dates. In the outside area of the Bunker Museum, a spacious enclosure provides an opportunity to watch ibexes from a close distance. These impressive game animals are the unofficial national symbol of the Texelgruppe Nature Park and populate the Hinterpasseier also in the wild. They demonstrate their climbing skills in the rocky terrain at the bunker and hardly let themselves be disturbed by our guests. In addition, the Bunker Mooseum offers a wealth of unforgettable impressions and experiences, exciting history, science, impressive nature and landscape. The guided tour will be in German.

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian. Take part in the icy experience with our mountain guide Robert Ciatti and feel the glacier with all your senses. Take the cable car from Kurzras to the glacier. The rest of the route takes you to the glacier tongue. From here, you will use harnesses, crampons and a rope to cross the Hochjochferner glacier. You will be shown the special features of the fascinating glacier world and daredevils can be abseiled into a crevasse. The descent is via the Schöne Aussicht mountain hut back to Kurzras. Additional information: high alpine tour; walking time: approx. 6-7 hours incl. practice on the glacier; good basic physical condition as well as good footwear and surefootedness required min. 2 participants; max. 10 participants.

Guided tour of the church and visit to the Romanesque three apses church of St. Margarethen. It is one of the Romanesque sites in South Tyrol and represents an art-historical treasure of European value. On the Romanesque Road you will come across numerous documents from earlier times. From the "Foolish Virgins" and the "Dumpling Eater", to one of the oldest churches in Tyrol, the smallest town in the Alps and the highest Benedictine monastery in Europe, as well as other Romanesque frescoes and sites of unspeakable value, these are all part of the "Stairway to Heaven" project. ONLY IN GERMAN OR ITALIAN Niedereben Farm is situated at an altitude of 634 metres on Nörderberg mountain. Benefiting from the advantageous climate, olives, grapes and cacti all flourish here. The Hofer family supplies the local organic specialist retailer (Biokistl) with its fruit and vegetables and sells a variety of home produced, typical South Tyrolean organic products in their own farm shop. Cows, pigs, quails, ducks, geese and chickens all feel like “pigs in clover” on the farm! This introduction to the long history of the farm gives visitors an insight into livestock husbandry and wine growing on the Vinschgau’s Nörderberg mountain and shows the route taken from the first olives to the production of the farm’s own olive oil. The following products are available to buy directly from the farm shop: speck (bacon), salami, smoked sausages, cooked herb-crusted ham, Coppa ham, farmer’s speck, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and in the autumn months chestnuts and pumpkins, apple juice and Vernatsch wine.

We take the Brenner motorway to Rovereto. Through the Loppio Valley and the Passo San Givanni we already reach the north-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Torbole. We drive along the eastern shore to Malcesine. There we enjoy a longer stay to get to know the famous town on the eastern shore. In the early afternoon we take a private boat to Limone. By bus you will then travel along the tunnel-rich Westgardesana towards Riva, the northernmost town on Lake Garda. Via Arco and the Sarca Valley past the beautifully situated Lake Toblino and through the narrow Vela Gorge we reach the Adige Valley again and the Brenner motorway back to Schenna.

The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley. The guided tour takes one hour and starts at the museum entrance. The guided tour is only available in German.

What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

This hike promises not only breathtaking landscapes, but also insights into the history of the channels, the steppe vegetation on the Monte Sole and the thermal water of Bad Kochenmoos. After 1945, many bunkers remained operational during the "Cold War" until they were decommissioned in the 1990s and transferred to the Province of South Tyrol. Some of these defensive structures hold historical significance, offering unique architectural insights today. The bunker at Töll was acquired by the municipalities of Algund and Marling and has been made accessible for guided visits. Via Bozen-Trient–Verona (short stay at a motorway station), we drive along the motorway to Padua and Venice. Arrival at around 10 a.m. By boat, we make our way to Saint Mark’s square in the centre of Venice. The city is built on 118 islands and offers many palaces and churches, romantic water ways and bridges, which bear witness to the former glory of the town. We stay in Venice for approx. 5 hours and return back via the Val Sugana to Trient and from there to Bozen and Schenna.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of viticulture on a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar. On request, you can also be served a platter of regional specialties. Winegrowing has been a tradition at the Hillepranterhof for generations. Since 2021, winemaker Lukas has been processing the grapes directly on the estate and marketing his wines independently. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Vernatsch and Pinot Noir grow on the slopes of the vineyard. The Pinot Noir is a real highlight and embodies the unique character of the terroir.
