From the Jochgrimm/Passo Oclini car park (individual arrival), the hike with hiking guide takes about 50 minutes through flowering alpine meadows and fragrant mountain pine forest up to the rocky, white summit of the Weißhorn/Corno Bianco (2313 m). At the top will be served a small South Tyrolean snack with freshly sliced bacon and cheese as well as wine and apple juice - and a box seat for the fabulous alpenglow. A romantic torchlight hike awaits you! The meeting point with Simone, who accompanies the hike, is at the tourist office in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. From there, you will need to drive independently to the Oberkofl farm, which takes about five minutes. The easy hike starts there and leads you past the farm along an idyllic forest path to the mystical St. Agatha Church, which lies in a clearing in the woods. The trail is easy to walk, with no major elevation changes. Along the way, Simone will share fascinating stories about the legendary church and this special place. "How did our ancestors live? A guided tour (german or italian) of the Museum Steinegg immerses you in the everyday life of past centuries. Lovingly furnished parlours, chambers and craft workshops tell of hard work, old customs and a life in the rhythm of nature. Experience over 1000 years of Tyrolean history, customs and traditions on 1000 m². Above all, the art treasures of religious and secular origin give the museum a special flavour and make it unique in South Tyrol. An animal exhibition is a source of amazement, especially for children. A new feature is the opportunity to be told directly by historical witnesses how they experienced the past. Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. Guided tours always take place on Thursdays at 04:00 p.m. Also possible on other days on request. Only with advance reservation.

When the scent of freshly baked bread drifts over Obergummer, it can only mean one thing: it's baking day again at the Untereggerhof. Gottfried, the farmer and host, fires up the old stone oven and takes you on a little journey back to a time when baking bread was still pure craftsmanship – done by hand, with heart and tradition. From mid-May to early October, you can join in every second Friday to watch how flour, water and years of experience come together to form a crusty farmhouse loaf. And who knows – Gottfried might even share one or two secrets of his recipe with you. Of course, there’s also a tasting: oven-warm, fragrant and wonderfully simple – this is what South Tyrol tastes like, one bite at a time.

We take the bus from Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente to the GEOPARC Bletterbach visitor center. There, the guided tour of the museum begins before you descend into the impressive gorge. Explore the narrow Taubenleck section and the Butterloch before enjoying a relaxing break at a mountain hut. We then follow the European long-distance hiking trail E5 towards Weissenstein | Pietralba, passing through the Kösertal valley (1696 m) until we reach Maria Weissenstein. For the return to Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente, you can either take the bus or walk back independently (walking time approx. 1.5 hours). The bus arrives in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente no later than 3:15 PM. Rosadira Bike Days from June 11 - 15, 2025 in the Eggental Valley Guided tours, workshops, South Tyrolean delights & get-togethers – all against the breathtaking backdrop of the Eggental Dolomites. For four days, everything in Welschnofen, Deutschnofen and Obereggen revolves around biking: from guided bike and e-bike tours at various skill levels to workshops for refining your riding technique or improving your mechanical skills. The program is rounded out by culinary highlights and relaxed afternoons in great company. Each location also features a range of exhibitors and opportunities to test bikes. Families are well taken care of too: a varied children's program ensures that even the youngest riders can explore the world of mountain biking in a playful way while the parents are out on tour.
