Once again this winter, on December 18, 2025, the world’s best snowboarders from numerous nations will compete in an exciting parallel event on the challenging Pra di Tori slope in the Carezza ski area. The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. After a short introduction to the sport of cross-country skiing, the beginner's trail leads through the magical winter landscape with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
Beginners can try out cross-country skiing with cross-country skiing instructor Peter Unterhauser. The course will only take place if at least 2 people register.

In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll. Meeting place: Always at 6:00 p.m. at the Deutschnofen Tourist Agency. The 4-km-long tour involves 200 meters of altitude differential and takes about two hours. At its conclusion, we can warm up in cheerful surroundings with some mulled wine.

The 42st edition of the slalom will take place on Monday, December 19th, on the Maierl slope (with a maximum gradient of up to 55%). The European Cup race in Obereggen will once again serve as training for the slalom specialists in preparation for the traditional World Cup slalom in Alta Badia, which will be held this year on December 22nd.

An evening of contrasts and sound colors: the overture to Carl Maria von Weber’s final opera Oberon leads into an exotic adventure. John Adams’ Shaker Loops brings the vibrant pulse of American minimalism. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, Winter Dreams, an early masterpiece full of poetic atmosphere. Conducted by Hossein Pishkar and performed by the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento.

Every Saturday at the small farmers' market in the centre of Steinegg|Collepietra, there are freshly harvested vegetables, seasonal fruit, dairy products and cheese from the Ebenhof farm cheese dairy. All goods come directly from the producers, i.e. the farmers.

The weapons for Castle Karneid|Cornedo were once forged here. Today, wines of strong character are produced here. And they play by the rules of nature. You can find out more secrets about the Pitzner winery and the special philosophy of the two young winemakers during a wine tasting in the new vinotheque and learn exciting facts about the process from grape to fine wine. Celebrate the New Year in a unique way at the traditional torchlight descent of the Carezza Ski School. On December 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the ski instructors of the Carezza Ski School will start at the Paolina Lift in Karersee | Carezza for an impressive torchlight descent, lighting up the evening with festive glow. After the descent, enjoy tea and mulled wine. Following the descent: Party at Golf.food and drinks until 10:00 PM with music, great vibes, and refreshing drinks.

Our leisurely circular hike starts at Gibitzplatz in Deutschnofen. From there, we follow the old Kirchsteig trail to the idyllically situated Wölflhof farm, where we plan to stop for lunch. Along the way, hiking guide Irene will point out the special features of winter nature. What strategies do plants and animals use to survive the cold season? Perhaps we will even discover traces of wild animals? Experiencing the winter silence of nature is a special treat for body and soul. Again and again we enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks - the Corno Bianco, the Latemar and the Catinaccio, which are part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a lunch break, we return along the E5 European long-distance hiking trail back to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen.

Sellaronda - accompanied ski tour around the Sella Mountain Massif
(no skiing-teacher but a guide/companion)

The Sellaronda is a circular ski tour for sporty skiers around the Sella Mountain Massif. There are different ways to circumnavigate the Sella: It leads over the picturesque Sellajoch/Passo Sella, the Pordoijoch/Passo Pordoi, den Campolongopass/Passo Campolongo and the Grödner Joch/Passo Gardena. In total, the tour has a lenght of 40 kilometers - about 24 kilometers are overcome by chairlift. The ski tour is duable also for people with intermediate skiing knowledge. The participants will be picked up in their accomodations.

Experience the pure magic of winter with a snowshoe hike in the deep winter Latemar area, where untouched snowy landscapes and the imposing panorama of the Dolomites promise an unforgettable nature experience. Tour Description: After a short bus ride, we begin our hike at the Paolina Chairlift Valley Station. The trail climbs steadily through the Latemar Forest towards the Latemar Hut and continues on to the Labyrinth Trail. Once we have crossed this impressive section, we arrive at the Mitterleger. From there, we descend towards the Grandhotel and finally return to our starting point. * Meeting point: We will meet at 09:00 at the Paolina bus stop. - Coming from Tires: take bus line 186, departing from Bolzano (time 07:52 h), via Tires (08:21, Brunnenplatz/Piazza fontana) and San Cipriano (08:31, with possible connection from line 176), to the Paolina stop. - Coming from the Eggental Valley: take bus line 180, also departing from Bolzano (time 08:07), via Birchabruck bus station (08:30, with possible connections from lines 181 and 182) and Nova Levante/Welschnofen Center (time 08:43), to the Paolina stop. A look behind the technical systems of the ski area with snow pioneer Georg Eisath

Forty years ago he built the first snow guns in South Tyrol; today Georg Eisath leads a guided ski tour offering insight into the core systems of snowmaking and slope preparation at the Carezza Dolomites ski area. A unique opportunity to explore the technical infrastructure of Carezza Dolomites on site.

From the Moseralm, the tour continues on skis to the pumping station of the reservoir basins, where participants learn about energy-efficient snow production and innovative slope-grooming technology. On the subsequent sections of the slopes, Georg Eisath presents additional projects focusing on efficiency improvements, digitalization, and sustainable resource management within the lift company.

The tour concludes at 4:00 p.m. at Hotel Moseralm. All participants can easily return to their starting point using the lifts and ski runs.

The tour focuses on technical procedures, energy systems, and infrastructural processes of the ski area. Due to its in-depth content, it is particularly suitable for technically interested teenagers and adults. Younger children may find the experience less suitable.

At the FIS Telemark World Cup on the slope „Masaré“, directly below the Rosengarten in the ski area Carezza Dolomites, athletes from around the world engage in an exciting sprint race competition over two days. The various obstacles they must overcome, such as giant slalom, jump, the 360 and skating, are very interesting for numerous spectators to watch.

The Carezza Telemark World Cup has been recognized as a GreenEvent this year.

Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After the tour of the farm, it’s time to get hands-on. Under Anna-Maria’s guidance, you’ll prepare different types of dumplings using products from the farm and experience a true piece of South Tyrolean culinary tradition. At the end, the homemade specialties are enjoyed together – and you can take the recipes home with you.

The toboggan world cup in Deutschnofen takes place on the „Pfösl Riep“ natural toboggan run, which is one of the most well-known tracks in South Tyrol. The course is challenging and offers athletes a combination of tight curves and technical sections. It winds through the beautiful South Tyrolean landscape and is highly popular among athletes and spectators for its difficulty and scenic beauty.

Explore the deep connection between body and mind. Under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Bernagozzi, psychologist and certified mindfulness trainer, you will learn how to promote your physiological well-being by retraining your mind. With the help of meditation techniques, you will find a direct way to get in touch with nature. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Italian and at 1:30 p.m. in German.
