Morning pint above the clouds - Welcome to South Tyrol's highest panorama lounge on the Rosengarten | Catinaccio at 2334 metres. Nature park Schlern | Sciliar - Rosengarten | Catinaccio: "Multivision-Show " with Valentin Pardeller in german/italian language! The Schlern | Sciliar looks like a huge monolith in front of which the two peaks Santner and Euringer rise into the sky - this image has become the symbol of South Tyrol. The Rosengarten | Catinaccio, on the other hand, presents itself as a seemingly endless sequence of pointed needles and towers; numerous legends and myths surround this rock massif. From the Jochgrimm/Passo Oclini car park (individual arrival), the hike with hiking guide takes about 50 minutes through flowering alpine meadows and fragrant mountain pine forest up to the rocky, white summit of the Weißhorn/Corno Bianco (2313 m). At the top will be served a small South Tyrolean snack with freshly sliced bacon and cheese as well as wine and apple juice - and a box seat for the fabulous alpenglow. Headlamps are provided for the 30-minute descent. Those who want to experience this special tour need good shoes and should be sure-footed. Mountain hike Across the Latemar Alpine Ridgeway with hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller The hike begins with a bus journey from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to Obereggen. From there, we hike through the Latemar forest and after about an hour we change to the Latemar ridgeway. Below the "Erzlahn" at the foot of the imposing Latemar, we take a short break to enjoy the panorama. We continue along the high route with marvellous views of the Brenta Dolomites and as far as the Ortler region. After the 360° viewing platform, we descend to the Oberholz hut, where we can take a lunch break. We then descend for about an hour to the bus stop in Obereggen, from where we return together to Welschnofen | Nova Levante. If desired, it is also possible to take the Oberholz lift down to the valley station. Big Rosengarten circuit with hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller The big Rosengarten circuit is a wonderful hike for experienced mountain hikers with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Ascent from Welschnofen | Nova Levante with the cable car Welschnofen | Nova Levante Laurin I to the Frommeralm hut and further with the cable car König Laurin I+II to the Kölner hut (2.339 m), where our mountain tour begins. First the steep ascent leads to the Tschagerjoch | Passo delle Coronelle (2,630 m) with the help of a short steel rope, then down to the Baumannpass | Forcella di Davoi and further up to the Zigoladepass | Passo Cigolade (2,579 m). Which animals and plants are essential for our bees and where do they find their well-being on certain days and at certain times of the year? The bee in the meadow, the bee at the pond, the bee in the pasture and at the former forest border - special power places for our indispensable helpers are pointed out on a short hike. It is not exclusively about the honey bee - the visitor also gets an insight into the exciting and very different life of the wild bee. Wild bees are the wild relatives of the honey bee and unlike honey bees, most wild bee species do not live in larger social groups. They usually fly through life as loners. At the beekeeper's house, everyone then has the opportunity to take a closer look at the hustle and bustle in a beehive at the display honeycomb. A romantic torchlight hike awaits all hikers who enjoy walking. Meeting point with the hiking guide Simone is at the tourist office Deutschnofen. From there, participants must drive independently by car to Oberkofl Hof (5min). The hike starts there and leads past the Oberkofl Hof through a forest path to the mystical church of St. Agatha, which is located in the middle of the forest in a clearing. The path is manageable without much difference in altitude and Simone introduces the participants to the legendary history of the church and the mystical place. The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin.
