Come and delve into a real-life wine experience at the bio farm Rielinger. The wine farmer will give you a tour of the vineyard, explaining the different grapes and their cultivation. We cultivate the white wine varieties Blatterle, Müller Thurgau, Kerner and Riesling as well as the red wines Schiava and Zweigelt.
After the vineyard tour you’ll hit the cellar where we show you how the wine is fermented and aged. At the end of the tour of course you may taste our in-house wines.

For a limited number of visitors, we open up the old, historic cellar located seven meters underground, providing you with unique insights into our daily work at the winery and much more... The tour is followed by a tasting session, featuring five wines from our portfolio.

Experience an exclusive tour of selected areas of the Benedictine Monastery of Muri-Gries, made possible by the abbot himself. The historic monastery complex also houses a traditional winery, where the renowned Lagrein red wines from the surrounding vineyards are produced. The baroque abbey church impresses with beautiful frescoes by Martin Knoller. In the immediate vicinity, we will visit the Gothic Old Gries Parish Church, which features a valuable Romanesque wooden crucifix and the famous altarpiece by Michael Pacher (1471-1475).

Guided Tour through the Cellar World of Bolzano's Old Town
Discover the mysterious cellar world of Bolzano's Old Town on an exciting tour. Visit the fascinating cathedral crypt, the archaeological excavations at Hannah-Arendt-Schule, and the historic cellars of the Mercantile building. Other interesting cellars beneath the Lauben await your exploration. The tour ends with a social drink at the Enoteca Gandolfi, where you can unwind in a cozy atmosphere.

Near the small church of St. Verena in Rotwand, traces of the oldest prehistoric settlements of the Renon have been discovered. This place of worship, located at the top of a hill, is the only one in Tyrol dedicated to Saint Verena. It was first mentioned in official documents in the 13th century.
The church overlooks the northern side of the Eisack Valley, offering an extraordinary view of the Sciliar massif. Visible from afar, it stands on an ancient place of worship and the remains of prehistoric hilltop forts, which were later transformed into a Christian sanctuary

The circular tour takes us on forest trails and alpine roads across the Salten plateau in the direction of Jenesien. You take the cable car Rittner Horn to the Schwarzseespitze. Fresh mountain air and a wonderful panorama await you there. The hike leads over the blooming alpine meadows to the Barbianer Alm. There is the rustic mountain pine oil distillery, where the owner Meinrad Rabensteiner gives an insight into the traditional production of mountain pine and pine oil.
The organic product is produced in harmony with nature, fresh needles and twig tips of the mountain pine are collected in summer and processed in a gentle way.

At the Ansitz Waldgries Manor, in the middle of the famous wine-growing area of S. Maddalena, viticulture has a long tradition. Waldgries was first mentioned in a document in 1242. Today Christian Plattner leads the wine estate with enthusiasm and success in the 3rd generation and gives his wines a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
Unique is the wine path "Zeit in Waldgries", where the visitor learns a lot of interesting facts about the winery and the daily work. At the end of the artistically designed path, the visitor is rewarded with a magnificent view of the city of Bolzano and the surrounding castles.

"The machinist turns the crank, the wagon spins and purrs, a little jerk, then it starts moving..." This is a quote from 1907 when the people from Bozen took the railway Renon (Rittner Bahn) to their summer retreat on the high plateau. Even today, after 113 years, our railway still runs between Maria Himmelfahrt, Oberbozen and Klobenstein as the only narrow-gauge railway in South Tyrol.

The original building of the Commandery Lengmoos dates back to the early 13th century. At the time, all across the region, pilgrim hospices were built to cater to pilgrims on their journey to Rome and provide for the poor. And so, a hospice was erected at the Saint Ulrich Pass in Lengmoos

First, you will gain insight into the seasonal work processes and learn firsthand how the grape makes its way into the bottle. After a tour of the Gothic cellars dating back to the 14th century, various wines will be tasted with the cellar master in the new tasting room.
