The Schliniger Alm is located at 1,868 m above sea level in the Sesvenna mountain group. From the village of Schlinig, you can reach the alp either on foot (even with a stroller), or by bike. In winter, the path is rolled daily, so you do not need winter equipment such as snowshoes or touring skis. It is recommended to take a toboggan for the way back. Offered is a wonderful panoramic view of the valley to the east and the mighty Schwarze Wand with the waterfall to the west. Let yourself be spoiled by the Almgasthaus cuisine and the products of the cheese dairy. The Schliniger Alm is not only a popular destination for families and athletes, but also offers one of the best alpine cheeses of the Upper Vinschgau in the alpine dairy. The alpine hut Planeil (Furgles Alm) is located at 2,203 meters above sea level and thereby has an excellent panoramic view. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of October.

In the comfortable restaurant in our historic farm are mainly served products directly of our own farm and field. Perfect for year group celebrations, birthday parties, company parties or the typical South Tyrolean autumn tradition, the so called Törggelen. Among tasty South Tyrolean quality products and Mediterranean digestibility you can enjoy from morning to evening the variety of the gastronomic pleasures. Enjoy in our garden coffee and homemade apple strudel, the typical Tyrolean afternoon snack “Marende” or a fruit buffet. Our homemade juices taste best after a beautiful bike tour with the whole family.

At the Brugger-Alm there is an place where you can enjoy the alpine cheese, which is made in summer from the milk of about 70 cows, and hearty South Tyrolean food.
