Comfortable, fast and safe: the lifts are the ideal solution to reach a certain height above sea level without worries. Some start directly from South Tyrol's main towns, others from easily accessible valley stations. Once at the top, there are various activities for every taste to choose from. Alpine huts serving fine delicacies with panoramic views. Adventurous via ferratas. Entertaining family parks. Worthwhile hikes. Or bike trails leading back down into the valley. Just a few clicks and you will receive all the information you need for your safe vacation. We look forward to seeing you!
No one is jostling at the lifts, the slopes are pleasantly empty, and a ski hut where hot chocolate awaits: Although they are overshadowed by the well-known large ski resorts, small ski areas and village lifts such as the Maders ski lift are undoubtedly excellent alternatives. Especially families and amateurs can comfortably combine the pleasure of skiing with the romance of the winter season.
The red and blue slopes are served by a platter lift. This runs over alpine meadows in the lower section and through the forest in the upper section. It is the lowest platter ski lift in South Tyrol.
Open daily during holidays.

The new village lift is a small ski lift in Kastelruth. The ski lift replaces the former ski lift, which has closed many years ago, on a shortened route. The ski lift is especially suitable for beginners and very popular with families with small children.
Just a few steps away from Hotel Berger/Gasthof Pircher, two small pistes with their own lifts wind their way up the sunny slope: the first is a platter lift from the Hotel Berger, right next to it is the Pichler chairlift. Professional ski instructors are also available. Families and beginners who are still a little unsteady on their skis will find the best conditions there to make their turns through the snow in peace and quiet.
The brand-new "SONNEN" 10-seat cable car will launch in December 2023 at Klausberg in the Skiworld Ahrntal. It replaces the old 3-seat "Sonnen" ski lift and offers a modern and comfortable ride for 10 people per cabin to over 2,100 m in just 6:12 minutes.
After comprehensive planning, the project started in November 2022. The new lift is a tried-and-tested model from Doppelmayr, chosen for its performance and safety. With a capacity of 2400 people per hour and a focus on child safety, the lift offers an impressive upgrade.
The work is primarily carried out by local companies to ensure short production and delivery routes and to support the local economy. The project will be completed in the fall of 2023 and the first rides will start in December 2023.
Along with the lift upgrade, existing slopes are made wider and safer to enhance the skiing experience. Therefore, "SONNEN" offers a complete upgrade, both in terms of the lift system and the slopes.
