In the beginnings a horse stable, the original vault from the 17 century was restored and conected with modern architectur. Open since 04.05.01 the area is daily open from 08.00 to 24.00. We serve pizzas and other food from 12.00 to 14.00 (in the high season we have non stop pizza service from 12.00 to 23.00) and at night from 17.30 to 23.00. The ancient inn: The Traube is documented as an inn in texts dating from the 17th century. The Niedermair family, who runs the hotel, has owned the ancient building for the last hundred years. Are you a self catering tourist? Do you prefer a bed and breakfast accomodation? Or is the classical full board your favorite option? No matter what style, the Hotel Traube can fulfill any holiday dream. In the morning, we provide a breakfast buffet. At lunch and at dinner, you may choose between various menus featuring Tyrolean delicacies as well as traditional Italian and international dishes. Our restaurant also delivers tasty snacks between meals.

We wish you pleasure in eating, so we use fresh, seasonal produce from South Tyrol, especially products from the immediate area, such as herbs from our meadows, beef from our own attitude and our wildlife from hunters from hunting district.

Our Montana Bistro in Gais is serving daily freshly prepared meals at reasonable prices – quickly and easily. Perfect for corporate clients or for the individual guest.

Our chef of the house will spoil you personally with a variety of delicacies. In the morning we served you a rich breakfast buffet with various South Tyrol special features, homemade jams and cakes , breads, a variety of different yoghurt and cereals and an organic corner with products from strictly controlled cultivation. At lunch time we serve you in our restaurant “Tesselberger Stuben" a variety of international dishes or you can satisfy the hunger in the afternoon with a hearty snack, with different cakes and ice creams. As part of the half board in the evening you can choose between a 3-4 course menu of international dishes, as well as a fresh salad and appetizer buffet.
