Rableid Alm is situated at an altitude of 2,004 m above sea level in one of the most game-rich valleys of South Tyrol, in the heart of the largest nature park in South Tyrol, the Texel Group Nature Park. One of the most spectacular sections of the Merano High Mountain Trail runs through Pfossental valley too. Hikers, nature lovers and tranquillity seekers alike are captivated by the unique flora and fauna of this high mountain valley. Enjoy a few peaceful hours in our rustic farmhouse parlour or on the sun terrace. Fortify yourself with a delicious hot meal accompanied by a glass of fine wine or treat yourself to a cool beer in a stone tankard. We will spoil you with our homebaked “Vinschger Paarlbot” bread and homemade cheese from our own Alpine dairy.

In the midst of the action in Sulden - that's the village bar Nives, the ultimate hotspot! Come by and let yourself be convinced, it will definitely be worth it. The bar at Nives is a real feast for the eyes. The back part of the building protrudes and seems to float almost 4 stories in the air. Through the large windows, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the picturesque village of Sulden. With the longest bar counter in town, indirect lighting, and modern flair, the bar especially creates a unique atmosphere in the evening. Of course, there's also a fine selection of rum, gin, and whisky. Or do you prefer a glass of good South Tyrolean wine or a fine grappa? Whatever you decide, you are in the right place in our bar. The alpine hut Planeil (Furgles Alm) is located at 2,203 meters above sea level and thereby has an excellent panoramic view. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of October.

the restaurant Oberraindlhof lies on a cosy hill in the middle of the valley. In this old traditional farmer house, family Raffeiner serves historic dishes, local proucts and finest wines.

Kuppelrain is framed by trees and shrubs, you will find us directly at the small cozy station of Castelbello which has been modernized lately. Our proven team is still from Chef Jörg Trafoier and sommelier Sonya. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed. For some time, daughter Natalie Trafoier is now fully entered the family business. As a trained pastry chef and Patissière can expand our extensive range in our Bistrot perfect. Enjoyable hours promises a unique gazebo on our stylish terrace Vinschgauer Sonnenberg. We seduce in the spring with fresh wild garlic dishes, as well as with the unique Biospargel from Kastelbell. It offers in summer salads, fresh strawberries and raspberries and sweet delights, such as the Passo apricot dumplings with Zimtbrösel. Autumn time - Treatment time hearty Törggele dishes and of course the popular poachers time! Our wine list offers exquisite white and red wines from renowned wineries, as well as fresh wine from Passo winemakers. Homemade juices from elderflower, strawberry, lemon balm are home-made.

Guests at the Weisses Rössl Lichtenberg can also spend enjoyable hours and wide views over the upper Vinschgau on the large terrace, in the winter garden or in the cosy wood-panelled parlour of the adjoining restaurant. A small selection of seasonal dishes are served, made from local produce wherever possible, accompanied by fine and biodynamically grown wines and naturally cloudy beer from Upper Bavaria.

The Bergl Hut is located at an altitude of 2,188 m below the Pleisshorngrat of the Ortler, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. It is accessible in about 1.5 hours from the Holy Three Fountains in Trafoi via trail No. 18. The Bergl Hut is situated directly across from the second-highest mountain pass road in the Alps, the Stelvio Pass, and offers an impressive view of the surrounding peaks, the stunning alpine landscape, and the Stelvio Pass road with its 48 hairpin turns. The hut delights its guests with a selection of regional specialties. Here, hikers can enjoy hearty dishes such as dumplings, speck platters, and pasta dishes made with local ingredients. Sweet temptations like apple strudel or Kaiserschmarrn are also a must. The Bergl Hut is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours, such as to the Payer Hut or further on to the Ortler, the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps.

The Upper Stelvio pasture is located at an altitude of 2,077 m, above the idyllic mountain village of Stelvio. From here, a breathtaking view of the majestic Ortler and the surrounding mountain landscape unfolds, enchanting every visitor. The alpine pasture is not only a popular spot for nature lovers but also a culinary highlight. In the warm kitchen, delicious South Tyrolean specialties are served that delight the palate and are perfect for recharging after a hike. The Upper Stelvio pasture also serves as a starting point for numerous hikes, including the popular route to Piz Chavalatsch. The beautiful hiking trails offer not only spectacular views but also the opportunity to experience the untouched nature of the Stelvio National Park. The alpine pasture is conveniently accessible via trail No. 6 from the Fragges wildlife park or via trail No. 4 from the Trafoi chairlift, each taking about 2 hours to reach.
