Our mountain hut is located at 1905 m at the Juac alp, above Selva in Val Gardena. Embedded in fresh meadows, our hut is the ideal place to relax and to escape the stress. Just lay back, enjoy the fresh air, our traditional dishes and the amazing view of the sourrounding mountains of Val Gardena. Ambiente The hut is pretty easy to reach by foot and by bike. For passionate hikers, mountain bikers or climbers the hut, for ist ideal location close by the Puez-Odle Natural Park, can be used as a perfekt starting point for walks and excursions. The hut is located on the Trentino side right under the Sassolungo. We have 12 beds in comfort rooms with own bathroom and 30 more beds in typical tyrolean rooms with sharing bathrooms. The refuge has boot warmers, clothes dryer and e-bike refills with the possibility to put the bikes indoors, a modern ski-room and a private ski-lift that takes you directly to the Dolomiti Superski slopes 12 resorts and 1200km of slopes and the famous Sellaronda without cold morning queues. Our cuisine is typical with a touch of modernity, many dishes offered come from our organic farms in Highlander, the largest in Italy. Access: from Campitello di Fassa via the Col Rodella cable car, then descending for 10 minutes along the path that leads to Sasso Piatto or from Passo Sella taking the Friedrich August path in 30 minutes you arrive at the refuge. During this excursion you may well just see modern farmsteads, but handy information boards showing pictures from the time reveal what the buildings really looked like in the past.

Our Alpine Restaurant/Bar is located at the foot of the Sassolungo with spectacular views of the Sella Group. We take great pride in our home cooking and one of our specialities is grilled trout (summer months only) which you can fish directly from our lake in front of the restaurant if you want or Tyrolean specialities such as a variety of canederli (Tyrolean dumplings made of bread with speck or spinach) and, for those with a sweet tooth, we highly recommend "Kaiserschmarren" which is a sweet omelette with bilberry jam as well as delicious home-made strudel and cakes. We have a lovely sunny terrace with plenty of deck chairs for sunbathing and relaxing after a hard days skiing or walking. In the winter months we have Italian specialities like Pasta, Pasta & Fagioli (Bean & Pasta soup), Tyrolean dishes and home-made Strudel which can be served on our sunny terrace.

The rustic Sangon hut is located at the foot of Mount Seceda, surrounded by the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Situated at an altitude of 1860 metres, with a panoramic sun-kissed terrace from morning to evening, it is an ideal meeting place for both hikers and bikers in summer, and skiers in winter. In winter, it is easily accessible on skis from both Col Raiser and Seceda, and is an ideal location for a tasty lunch break or to enjoy a sunset aperitif before the last downhill ski run.
