The Seurasas hut is located in the heart of Val Gardena at an altitude of 2.020 meters. It disposes of a wonderful sun deck with a breathtaking view of the "Saslong" and "Sella" mountain chain. The Neidia Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 2000 m, belongs to the Puze farm in S. Cristina. The most important thing for us is to ensure that all our dishes are freshly prepared with our own farm products.

Our hut is located on the same-named mountain Stevia (2.312 m), in the natural park Puez Geisler and in the UNESCO world natural heritage. Enjoy with good local cuisine our comfortable atmosphere and our unique location with a breath-taking panorama view.

Our cuisine relies heavily on traditional Tyrolean meals, whilst at the same time paying special attention to a modern interpretation with a hint of Mediterranean taste. Next to our regional dishes we also offer a wide range of culinary specialties from the grill such as our famous spareribs or our tender steaks, which can be enjoyed in a laid-back atmosphere that is characterized by plain elegance and coziness. Our mountain hut is located at 1905 m at the Juac alp, above Selva in Val Gardena. Embedded in fresh meadows, our hut is the ideal place to relax and to escape the stress. Just lay back, enjoy the fresh air, our traditional dishes and the amazing view of the sourrounding mountains of Val Gardena. Ambiente The hut is pretty easy to reach by foot and by bike. For passionate hikers, mountain bikers or climbers the hut, for ist ideal location close by the Puez-Odle Natural Park, can be used as a perfekt starting point for walks and excursions. Our hut is situated on the Sella Pass in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites scenery. Thanks to its position between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, you can enjoy a fantastic 360° view. In winter you can reach us directly via the Sellaronda. In summer, however, you can reach us either from the Sella Pass after a comfortable 25-minute walk or from Campitello di Fassa with the Col Rodella cable car and after a 20-minute walk downhill towards the Sella Pass. Another option to reach us is by bike in 10 minutes from the Sella Pass or downhill from the Col Rodella cable car towards the Sella Pass in only 5 minutes. A large selection of creative culinary dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine awaits you here. Also pizza lovers will not miss out(only winter). The strenuous but all the more rewarding hike up the Seceda starts in the village centre of Ortisei and reaches its climax with the unique view from the Seceda to the graceful Olde peaks, it is one of the most popular views in the Dolomites.

Typical Southtyrol dishes as well as exquisite italian specialities, salads, soup and a great selection of exclusively homemade cakes and desserts. Children of every age are more than welcome in Val d'Anna. You will find many playgrounds where they may have fun and meet new friends.

The Val Gardena railway trail runs along the entire length of the valley and takes you past woods, meadows, hamlets and local sights on the sunny side of the valley. Choose between Selva, S. Cristina and Ortisei as your starting point. The walk follows the course of the former Val Gardena railway, which was built during the First World War – in the years 1915-1916.

On a section of the path you will find a number of bronze sculptures by local artists. These give walkers and hikers an insight into the fascinating history of art in the Gardena Valley.

Along the railway line trail from La Poza towards S. Cristina there is a snow gauge, which measures the amount of snowfall for the period from 1951 to the present day.

Built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena. It’s located on the sunny side in the middle of the Nature Park Puez-Odle with a stunning view on the Sassolungo and on the Odle mountains. The Rifugio Firenze was built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena by the German-Austrian Alpine Club (DÖAV Regensburg). When in 1921, with the end of the First World War, South Tyrol was given to Italy, the administration of the hut was transferred to the CAI of Florence, which renamed it "Rifugio Firenze". In 2010, after almost 90 years in hands of CAI Florence, the hut was entrusted to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, which still owns it. Open in summer from 1st June until mid of October

The Seurasas (2,125 m) is a popular visited view point above Ortisei, which is loved by the local people. The hiking trail not only offers a fantastic view, but the interesting path conditions make this trail a special feature.

This 5 km hike leads from Ortisei to Resciesa through the forest. It is a fairly steep trail which requires good physical condition and walking confidence. Do not be discouraged by the elevation gain; you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view that will make you forget your fatigue. This hike is recommended for those who enjoy walking in the tranquility that only the forest can offer.
