The focus is on drinking water and waste prevention, in the context of the project the water refill points will be captured on the walking- and cycle paths.

The castle was built between 1622 and 1641 by Engelhard Dietrich von Wolkenstein-Trostburg. It is located between Selva and S.Cristina and was used as a summer and hunting lodge. In 1863, Count Leopold von Wolkenstein-Trostburg granted the castle to S.Cristina municipality to transform it into a almshouse. The castle has been owned by the Franchetti Barons since 1926, and it is currently closed to the public.

The "DSV Nordic Activ Park" in Vallunga is born as an innovative concept of the German Skiing Association DSV. The Center is open all the year: in the winter for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing and in the summer for nordic walking. There are 3 routes with different difficulties. Walk in our natural park "Puez- Odle" surrounded from a wonderful scenery, a unique flora and sightseeing like the ruins of the Wolkenstein castle, the St. Sylvester’s Chapel and the Via Crucis.

The “Ski & Snowboard School 2000” can provide you with two well-stocked rentals where you can rent ski, ski boots, snowboard, ski mountaineering gear and all other equipment that you may need. We have the most recent models available, from race carver to rocker, from all-mountain to free ride models, as well as the most prestigious snowboard brands. We have a vast selection to satisfy all your needs. In addition, we are trained to suggest to you the most suitable equipment, according to you technique level. Do you have already your equipment but need to repair it? Our knowledgeable staff will take care of it and turn your equipment back into its original condition.
