Auto Alta Badia was founded in 1988 as a body shop but has expanded its offerings over the years to include an authorized workshop for Volkswagen, VW VIC, Skoda, and Suzuki, along with services such as car washing, rental, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
Since 2011, we have also offered fuel at our Tamoil service stations with car wash boxes and a shop. In our showroom, we offer a wide range of car models from all brands.

The Deer Park “Sompunt”, between La Villa and Badia includes more than 7 hectares of meadows and forest where more than 30 species of deer and fallow deer live together in harmony.
The park can be easily reached by car, bus or by foot.
Starting from the hut “Paraciora” and following an easy marked path, you can admire these wild animals living in uncontaminated nature.
The path is approx. 1 km long.
The route is indicated by arrows and information boards on which you will find some information about the park and its majestic inhabitants. The trail is also suitable for trekking strollers.
Our Park offers a playground for children and there are also ponies, donkeys, rabbits, ducks, chicken and goats to see.

Father Heinrich Videsott was born on July 3, 1912 in Mantana near Brunico and died on December 9, 1999 in La Val. Pastor Videsott particularly stood out for his spiritual charisma, his deep piety and great compassion. He showed an unlimited willingness to help and was an ambassador of the goodness and love of God.
Colz Castle, also called Rubatsch Residence, is a massive building, which boasts a curtain wall with four round towers and many embrasures.
The castle dates back to the year 1536, when Ferdinand I allowed Hans von Rubatsch to build himself a residence. At the end of the 16th century the castle entered into the possession of the Lords of Colz. In the course of time, the building served many functions, like the one of a poorhouse. Finally, it entered into the possession of a farmer’s family.
Colz Castle gained some popularity thanks to the knight Franz Wilhelm Prack zu Asch, also called “Gran Bracun“, who lived in the Ladin valleys between 1573 and 1581 and was known for his cruel but heroic battles.
Finally, Colz Castle was restored. Today it is private.

Horse Tow
The horse tow will not operate if the route is closed or in heavy snow conditions.
This chapel in the hamlet "Rü" was built in 1973 and is dedicated to the Madonna of Lourdes.
Enjoy a romantic experience in Alta Badia on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Wrapped in a warm blanket you can lie back and enjoy the snowy landscape at a leisurely pace. The coachmen accompany you through unspoiled forests and meadows to discover the enchanting winter landscape of Alta Badia.

Families which have owned the same land for more than 200 years are awarded a "Deed of inheritance" by the Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol. The Nagler family has been honoured in this way.
The original name was "Murin da Coz" because grain from the Coz farm was milled ("murin" means mill in Ladin) here. The oldest written documents mention Hof Palua (The Palua farm) in about 1566, Pares in 1780 and finally Murin. The first settlement can be dated 1296; the saw and the grain mill probably needed water power. In 1771 the "Brochia" family from Longiarü settled here. In common with many other family names in Val Badia, "Brochia" was reinvented in German, in this case, as "Nagler".
In those days, priests - as well judges - came from places outside Ladinia and they could not speak Ladin which led them to renaming their family names; most written documents were set out in German or Italian. Before 1800 the Ladin language was used relatively rarely in written documents.
Now the Murin farm is private and can be visited outside doing the culture trail in Badia.

Sunny Rides in the Dolomites at the Ciampai slope
Are you an enthusiastic snowboarder or freerider? Your passion are aerials and moguls, jumps and bumps? Then you will love the snowpark Alta Badia at the Piz Sorega plateau between the slopes La Fraina and Ciampai .
The Snowpark Alta Badia offers all enthusiasts a worthy home base surrounded by the mighty Dolomites: snowboarders and freeskiers can choose from five areas and 34 obstacles for their creative combos and lines.
Depending on one’s skill level, freeskiers and snowboarders can shred over boxes, rails and kickers and refine their tricks and style.
At the easy area you can try your first simple slides and tricks on the butter boxes and small kickers.
More experienced riders shred over different rails and creative jibs on the medium jib line or they test the medium kicker line. Furthermore, the top section provides some fine multi jibs for even more creative action.
The advanced area has really big kickers and a spine for all airtime-seeking freestylers.
If you want to relax or soak up some sun in between your runs, take a seat at the cozy chill area of the park!
The snowpark can be reached with the chairlift Ciampai - n. 9

Fun and adventure for kids
A lot of entertainment awaits the young athletes in the Kids Fun Line near the La Crusc 1 lift station. Along the ski slope the young skiers, beginners or advanced, meet different obstacles like the Fun Line Rainbow Bridge, a kicker, a smiley which they can greet or the Speed Booster which makes sounds when you slide over it. In addition, the slope over hills and through tunnels is accompanied musically by a Chinese gong, a giant xylophone and a "sound high five“.
How to reach the Kids Fun Line:
With the Baby La Crusc skilift, in the ski area Santa Croce/La Crusc in Badia.
Rental for: skis, boots, poles, helmets, snowboards, carving skis, and sleds.
Service: base waxing, binding adjustment, balancing, edge grinding, and base repairs. The advice and friendliness of our qualified personnel guarantee individualized service.
The ski shop is located adjacent to the SKIMINICLUB of the Ski School. Nearby is the School itself, only two steps from the ski lifts, right in the center of La Villa, the heart of the Alta Badia.
If you love friendly competition amongst friends and family, you can’t miss the Parallel Slalom on the Pre dai Corf slope. There, you’ll find two parallel courses where you compete between the gates in a giant slalom to see who’s the quickest.
To reach the slope, take the Para dai Corf chairlift, located in the valley between Corvara and La Villa. The slope is easily accessible using the ski lifts.
Both lanes are equipped with start gates, and your time will be measured at the finish line. There’s only one option for those who lose: ask for a rematch!
The Gaidra weaving mill is a thriving artisanal textile company based in Pederoa in Alta Badia in the Dolomites. We are custodians of the finest weaving tradition and use advanced technology to improve and optimize the production of our fabrics. We produce linen, cotton, and wool fabrics. Our activity begins with fabric design and ends with direct sales from the finished product. Alongside the manufacturing facility, you will find a store with all custom-made textile products for the home. Additionally, in the Gaidra HOME showroom showcases upholstered furniture, completing our range of furnishings.

The parish church of "Our Lady": the present church was consacrated in 1516.
Starting from the 19th century the interior decoration was adapted to the taste of the age. The exterior is simple. The Gothic altar was created by a workshop in Val Gardena, while the lateral altars present a marked style of the Tuscan Gothic.
A church of the village was already mentioned in a document of the 15th century.
The reconstructed building dates back to 1782. The exterior aspect of the building consists of clearly separated architectural parts, while the interior decoration presents a subdivision in pilasters.

An innovative Action & Fun Area is presented under the umbrella brand “Funzone Edelweiss”, which combines a speed track, a kids slopestyle and a funline. While the Funline guarantees a new action experience for everyone with its steep curves, waves tracks, jumps and other obstacles, the Kids Slopestyle offers a snow park concept especially designed for children and beginners. On the staged slopestyle course with jumps and different rail geometries, winter athletes of all skill levels can get a taste of the “freestyle world” and train different types of jumps.
Starting from the upper station of the Sodlisia lift, the Sellaronda Funline is perfect for beginners and families. Jumps, banked turns, waves, snow tunnels, and fun obstacles create a unique trail that guarantees emotions and unforgettable memories.
In winter, the Edelweiss Valley is especially popular for leisurely skiers and families.
In summer, one of the most popular entrances to the Nature Park is the Edelweiss Valley in Colfosco. The rustic-romantic valley is destination and start point of many hikes. The views from every point of the valley are simply unique, but the view from the Col Pradat hill on the Sella massif and the Val de Mesdí Valley is especially worth mentioning. The mountain seems close enough to touch them!

The parish church Saint Catherine of Alexandria, mentioned in 1347 and consecrated in 1452, is the first church of Corvara. In the small church, built in late Gothic style, you can admire some admirable works of art.
For example, there are some frescoes and a winged altar dating back to 1520, the only well-preserved winged altar in Val Badia. The altar was realized by the workshop of Ruprecht Potsch and was restored in 1975. According to legend, the landscape paintings on the two panels of the altar are by the famous painter Titian, who was probably in Corvara for a short time. Art experts attribute the work to an artist from the so-called Danube School, Albrecht Altdorfer.
Around the church there is, as usual in our alpine area, the town cemetery.
