Podél vody

Před staletími byly v Jižním Tyrolsku vybudovány kanály k zavlažování luk a polí, zejména v okolí Merana a v údolí Vinschgau, kde byly srážky vzácné. O to, aby každý zemědělec dostal svou vodu, se staral strážce vody, zvaný také "Waaler". Dnes patří stezky podél historických zavlažovacích kanálů k nejoblíbenějším procházkám v Jižním Tyrolsku, protože se po nich dá chodit téměř po celý rok, jsou většinou rovinaté, a tak je zvládne každý.
