For the first time since their opening in 2001, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are opening their doors in the winter months for a magical attraction: The LUMAGICA Park of Lights, South Tyrol's only park of its kind, will open its doors on 21.11.2024 and take visitors on an incredible journey through the fascinating worlds of the botanical gardens. The LUMAGICA Light Park is more than just a light installation - it is a tribute to the beauty of nature and the diversity of life. Each handcrafted light installation has been carefully designed to reflect the unique themes and atmospheres of the botanical garden and enchant visitors of all ages.

Kunst Meran is pleased to present the fourth edition of the exhibition and publication project New Architecture in South Tyrol together with the Architekturstiftung Südtirol and the Südtiroler Künstlerbund. After the first three editions (2006, 2012, 2018), the new edition presents another inventory of projects that document the architectural development process in South Tyrol and tell the recent architectural history of this region. The selection was made by an international jury. The exhibition New Architecture in South Tyrol 2018-2024 will be on display at Kunst Meran from 27 October 2024 to 16 February 2025. The publication of the same name with the selected 56 new South Tyrolean buildings and texts by Filippo Bricolo, Annette Spiro e Elisa Valero Ramos will be published by Park Books in Zurich. The art project SILENT LIGHTS 2024 - sounding places enchants from 26 December 2024 to 6 January 2025, the park of Terme Merano will be transformed into a landscape of wonder in the heart of the spa town of Merano. Every day from 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., the public is invited to explore a trail of sculptures, light installations and magical spaces. FABRIK AZZURRO presents pictorial spaces that tell stories both poetically and humorously and are transformed into lively ‘sounding places’ by specially dedicated short pieces by South Tyrolean musicians.
