Join us for a curated journey through the heart of Italy’s Pinot Noir growing area. This immersive wine experience begins with a scenic walk through the sun-kissed vineyards of Pinzon and Glen — two charming wine villages. Along the trail, you’ll uncover hidden historical sites and hear the stories that shape our local wine culture. Designed to be both interactive and family-friendly, the route offers not only cultural highlights but also sweeping views of the landscape and the Trudner Horn Nature Park — a breathtaking backdrop to your day. After approximately two hours of walking and discovery, you’ll be welcomed into our cellar for a guided tour and a tasting of our wines. The tasting experience lasts about one hour and invites you to savor the character and elegance of our terroir in every glass.

Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. On the way, at the Baron Widmann winery, in the vineyards, at the Castel Turmhof Tiefenbrunner winery and in the Cantina Cortaccia, you can taste 5 typical wines. The walk lasts 3 1/2-4 hours, about 50 minutes of which are spent actually walking.

The apple tours in Appiano with our expert Doris, offer a unique opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of apple growing and processing. Appiano is proud of its rich apple tradition and invites visitors to learn more about this popular fruit growing. During the apple tours you will have the opportunity to dive directly into the apple orchards and learn from Doris everything about the cultivation, care and harvesting of apples. The authentic wine experience for all senses takes place in the newly created wing of the Cantina Kurtatsch. During the visit, you will gain fascinating insights into the importance of terroir, the variety of Kurtatsch’s vineyard sites, and its unique wines. The educational TERROIR Experience will lead you into the new dolomite barrique cellar with its natural rock wall and conclude with a tasting of 5 wines from our TERROIR line. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 18 people. Please note that dogs are welcome in our wine shop and on the terrace, but for hygiene reasons they cannot take part in the guided tours. Südtirols Süden Card: If you are in possession of the “Südtirols Süden Card”, please indicate this in the appropriate field when booking. The discount will then be applied automatically. The indication that you hold the Guest Card must be made during the booking process, as the discount cannot be granted retrospectively. Children are very welcome to join the guided tour. Participation is free of charge for children up to 15 years old, while for teenagers aged 16 to 18 we charge €10 for the tour.

In a full-day tour you will hike with one of our professional guides through our vineyards from 900 m to 220 m and taste 12 wines of our TERROIR line in their respective locations. At the typical morning snack, the so-called "Holbmittog", and the 3-course lunch in one of the restaurants in Kurtatsch you can enjoy culinary specialties.

Guided Tour through the Cellar World of Bolzano's Old Town Discover the mysterious cellar world of Bolzano's Old Town on an exciting tour. Visit the fascinating cathedral crypt, the archaeological excavations at Hannah-Arendt-Schule, and the historic cellars of the Mercantile building. Other interesting cellars beneath the Lauben await your exploration. The tour ends with a social drink at the Enoteca Gandolfi, where you can unwind in a cozy atmosphere. Hocheppan Castle sits majestically on a rocky spur above Eppan on the Wine Road and is one of the most important fortified castles in South Tyrol. Built around 1130 by the Counts of Eppan, the complex impresses with mighty curtain walls, a striking keep and the well-preserved Palas. Particularly worth seeing is the Romanesque castle chapel, whose interior walls are decorated with extraordinary frescoes. These date back to the 13th century and show both biblical scenes and rare secular depictions - including the famous “dumpling eater”, a humorous testimony to everyday medieval culture. After years of decay, the castle was restored and is now a popular excursion destination with refreshments and a unique view of the Adige Valley. It combines history, art and nature to create an impressive experience. Hocheppan Castle and its chapel can be visited as part of guided tours, available every 30 minutes from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the following days: • 5.
