Between three and seven farms built and managed the municipal mills in the gorge of Bulla. -- Cun la roda -- Starting from Ortisei we ride moderately uphill for about 2 km in S.Cristina direction. On our way, we pass the little church of St. Jacob. In S.Cristina we leave the paved road and ride uphill towards the Gamsblut mountain hut and reach the Fermeda hut. From here we can enjoy a beautiful downhill to Rifugio Firenze and continue to Selva. From here the trail takes us through a wonderful larches forest into Vallunga in the Puez-Odle Nature Park. We reach the alpine meadows of Pra da Ri and then ride back to Selva and S.Cristina. The hike starts at the Active & Events office in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena. With the local bus you will reach the idyllic hamlet of “Daunëi”. During a visit to a beehive, children and their parents will learn interesting facts about the honey bee, its life and the honey's journey from the flower blossom to the honey jar. From there you follow the path "Via Crucis" in direction of Vallunga, a true family paradise.
