This medium-easy routeruns circularly between the villages of Corvara and Colfosco, at the foot of the majestic Sassongher mountain. The initial ascent through the woods will then give way to a spectacular view of the north face of the Sella massif.

This snowshoe expedition to the Jocherhof farm leads you over gently undulating countryside above the Tierser Valley. It boasts breathtaking views over the Rosengarten mountain, and is not particularly challenging on a technical level.

The Furkelhütte mountain hut towers over Trafoi at an elevation of 2,153 m. Trail no. 17, which leads from Trafoi (near the lift station) to the Furkelhütte, is the classic option for winter and snowshoe hikes in the Trafoi area. It leads hikers on a two-hour excursion through a romantic forest setting to reach the hut. A renovated trench section shortly before the end of the trail provides a fascinating insight into the hard life endured by soldiers during WWI. The sun terrace boasts the best view of King Ortler and the surrounding mountain panorama – all the way through to the Stilfserjoch ridge. The return leg can also be completed via a 20-minute ride on the chairlift.

Starting from the idyllic sanctuary of Maria Weißenstein, this leisurely snowshoe hike takes you into the pristine winter landscape of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. Starting point: North lakeshore of the Lake Haider in S. Valentino alla Muta Ascent: Along the western lakeshore to the southern end of the Lake Haider, then take the road on the right side, along the trail number 8 for Lake Faulensee. Turn right again to the old alpine path, which goes into Zerzertal. Pass the St. Martin Church and walk up the bridge just before the alpine pasture Malga Brugger/Brugger Alm (it is closed in winter). Over the lower trail number 7 across the Petsch forest in north direction back to the village St. Valentin. Arrived at the forest road, the way goes further on the skiing slope. Down to Plagött (posibility to stop for a bite to eat), and on to the valley station of the Malga S. Valentino/Haideralm.
The perfect family-oriented hike starts in Badia and leads to the feet of the mighty faces of the Sasso di Santa Croce and through the snow-covered Armentara meadows.
Hike on old haymaking paths to the Lüsen Alps.
Before motorization an road construction, the hay harvest from the alpine pastures in winter was brought to the valley with sledges. The hike leads from the Lüsnerhof tot he left of the stream on the farm track uphill. At the edge of the forest the road through the forest goes left to the farmhouse of the Gargitthof. Below the farmhouse there is a nice resting place witha wonderful panoramic view. The way back goes from the rest area over the path tot he forest road and back to Lüsen Rungg.

The Tomanegger restaurant is your starting point. Follow trail no. 30 on the Salten an walk on along trail no. 6/12B, until you reach the Gschnofer Stall restaurant. From here, follow trails no. 7a and 7, and then trail no. 10 to come back to Wirtshof and trail no. 30 to come back to your starting point. Duration of the excursion: 3 hours - Drop/rise 313 m
A light but impressive snowshoe hike at Geiselsberger Hinterberg. Start of the hike is at the valley station Gassl with the possibility for free parking. From here it goes still without snowshoes to Bad Bergfall to the first bridge. From the access road leading to the "Erschbaum-Hof" you will pass a small wooden bridge, along an old fence, uphill over the meadows to the "Bigraber-Hof". There we cross the road leading to "Bad Berfall". Continue past the "Kirchsteig" above the "Oberlechner-Hof" (Hotel Lenz) to the deer park. As soon as we see the "Unterrainerhof", turn right up to a small larch forest below the valley station Marchner; Along the fence (mark) turn left to the "Gruns farm" and from there continue over the free meadows or the access road to the "Trattes" farmhouse, where you have the possibility to stop. From there, through a romantic but safe canyon down to the "sulfur bath" and then to Bad Bergfall. From here, without snowshoes, along the Furkel brook back to the starting point. Depending on the condition of the snow, some icy spots may be present.
