In a quiet location directly on the mountain, in the village centre or in the middle of a hiking area with a view of the Dolomite mountains – you can find our South Tyrolean inns everywhere in the region. Over 30 inns belong to the ‘Südtiroler Gasthaus initiative’ group, which keep our inn culture alive. There, we welcome you into wood-panelled, traditional parlours, in carefully renovated farmhouses or in houses with traditional Alpine architecture. In all these places, you will meet warm-hearted innkeepers, some of whom have been running their inns for generations.

In our cosy, traditional parlours, you can taste Wines of Alto Adige , experience our warm hospitality, enjoy the original mountain cuisine, cooked from regional products that come directly from the farms straight into our pots and pans. Only the best for our guests – at our inns, we serve you spicy Speck Alto Adige PGI, meadow-fresh herbs, first-class meat and other local products, directly from our producers.

Our innkeepers are based right at the source of good taste. Whether it’s summer-fresh berries, spicy Speck Alto Adige PGI or aromatic mountain herbs, carefully cultivated vegetables or first-class wines that ripen at different high altitudes under the South Tyrolean sun – in harmony with nature and in time with the seasons – our farmers, winegrowers and producers produce high-quality products, many of which bear the South Tyrolean seal of quality. This is a seal that guarantees their origin and production in the region, in addition to other characteristics.

All these regional and seasonal products can also be found on the plates and in the wine glasses at our inns. Coupled with the experience of our restaurateurs, this results in a down-to-earth South Tyrolean cuisine that combines the traditional and the new. Alpine tradition merges with Mediterranean sophistication to create an authentic culinary culture. You'll taste it!
