Ice skating is enjoyable alternative to skiing. The Laces IceForum has a 30x60m covered ice rink, for great skating - even when the weather isn’t so good. Entry for children up to six years old is free of charge and skates can be hired at the track. The IceForum bar is the ideal meeting point for thirsty sportsmen and parents waiting for their kids.

Children's Snow Park in Reischach

A few steps away from the Cron4 pools at the sports park in Reischach, children can have fun in the snow.

Between a short toboggan run (approx. 30 metres), an ice skating ring, a playground and a mini-zoo, fun for the whole family is guaranteed.

The sunny Plateau of Renon gives everyone the right moves to glide with ease on the ice, as our ice stock Players know. Slip on your skates and have a go on the ice rink and ice place of the Arena Ritten in Collalbo, on the ice place in Soprabolzano or on the beautiful idylicc lake of Costalovara.

If you're looking for ice skating fun with your family or friends on your winter holiday, Bruneck and the surrounding area have many different options. For example, 2 km from Bruneck/Brunico, you can glide over the natural ice rink in Reischach/Riscone.

The indoor ice rink is open from middle of July till middle of September and from middle of December to April. Schedules are updated from week to week.

Between Steinegg|Collepietra and Gummer|San Valentino you will find the ice rink at the ‘Gerda Weissensteiner’ community sports centre. Here you can do your laps on the ice with friends and family and enjoy the clear mountain air.

If you don't have your own skates, that's no problem - there is a skate hire service on site. 
However, please note: the ice rink remains closed in bad weather or unfavourable temperatures. A quick look at the weather will save you an unnecessary journey.

The tennis court is in front of the open-air swimming pool. There are 3 sand courts. In wintertime the tennis courts become an ice-skating rink.

The ice rink of Bressanone is a meeting point for fans of skating of all ages, but also home to the Brixen workout for several associations, such as HC Falcons (ice hockey) and WSV Brixen (figure skating and curling). Even the national team ice hockey, the Russian team HC Vityaz and athletes of Team THE Schwenningen Wild Wings (Germany) have already been trained in the ice rink of Bressanone. Several teams of Austria and Germany in view of their respective national championships regularly organize their training camps autumn in Bressanone.

Due to the warm temperatures, ice skating on Lake San Valentino and Lake Resia is currently not possible

The ice ring on Lake Haider offers a unique natural ice skating experience on a natural lake with a circumference of around 500m. Located in the heart of the picturesque Upper Venosta Valley, visitors can enjoy the freedom of open-air skating. The ice rink is accessible without opening hours and without lighting, creating an idyllic setting. Entrance is free, but access to the ice is at one's own risk.
