Schmidt becomes SCHMIEDL

Lana's village bakery is now called SCHMIEDL and is run by Johannes, Tobias and Greta. The young generation builds on over 100 years of experience and brings a fresh look and many new ideas to the bakery. SCHMIEDL relies on high-quality, natural ingredients, traditional craftsmanship and long dough processes. "Our most important ingredient is time," says master baker Johannes, "it makes our baked goods easy to digest and gives them their unique taste." Around 200 recipes are used in the SCHMIEDL bakery. A good portion of these are the carefully mixed pre-doughs, which together with the natural yeasts in the form of Lievito Madre and sourdough make the baked goods juicier, longer lasting and even tastier.

From the plant to the jar - 100% handmade
Each of the products from Ausser Brugghof in Katharinaberg is truly unique, the result of pure craftsmanship and genuine passion. On the farm, young farmer Patrick and his girlfriend Jana personally look after every single plant - from the first seedling to the care and harvest. They do not use large machines and instead rely on careful manual labour. Processing is also carried out in small batches in order to maintain freshness and quality at the highest level. The berries are carefully selected: Only the best fruit makes it into the jars. With a fruit content of 70%, the fruit spreads have an intense flavour. To preserve the bright colour and full flavour, they always process the fruit as fresh as possible. The ingredients for the syrups also come directly from nature and the farm: elderflowers are collected in the wild, dandelion flowers are picked from the natural meadows and basil and mint leaves grow in the farm's own garden. The result: unique specialities with a genuine taste - homemade, natural and full of passion. Visit the Ausser Brugghof and let yourself be spoilt by the lovingly produced delicacies!
