Gaze in awe as each of our Japanese dishes is prepared freshly, right in front of you, at the Tappanyaki table.
It’s like taking in a show and enjoying great cuisine in one! South Tyrol’s first Teppanyaki restaurant was opened by none other than Toshio Kobatake, Teppanyaki chef at ‘Toshi’ in Munich. The “Schlemmer Atlas”, a restaurant guide for the German-speaking region, named his restaurant the “Ethnic restaurant of the year”. The two men took our sous chef, Roman, under their wing for an entire year – he couldn’t have had better training, even in Japan – and schooled him in the art of genuine Teppanyaki cuisine.
Now, Roman serves our guests at the Teppanyaki grill in the Sky restaurant at the Quellenhof in South Tyrol.
