As one of the oldest family-run wineries in South Tyrol, we have produced a broad wine assortment since 1309. Indeed, our wine selection ranges from young and light ones to elegant and mature –top quality wines. The three varieties – Classic, Höfe and Meister – offer the ideal wine for every taste and occasion. Wine retail: From Monday to Saturday from 9 am to noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Situated directly along the Alto Adige Wine Road, Cantina Kaltern's wine center provides a welcoming ambiance for exploring and acquiring products from Cantina Kaltern, Cantina Erste+Neue, and Tenuta Baron Di Pauli. Particularly noteworthy is the winelounge, which extends openly over a terrace landscape above the sales area, beckoning guests to immerse themselves in the experience. Alongside wines, the winecenter also offers a selection of high-quality delicacies from Alto Adige and wine accessories.

A small family business in Pianizza di Sotto district of Caldaro. The grapes from the estate's own vineyards are lovingly and professionally processed into high-quality wines. In order to reflect the characteristics of the individual varieties from the sun-drenched vineyards in the bottle, great importance is attached to sustainable cultivation in the vineyard and gentle processing in the cellar.

Our guesthouse is a family business and is situated 5 minutes away from the Lake of Kaltern. On our garden-terrace you can enjoy traditional, local dishes and taste our high quality wines. We are also a strategic starting point for walking-tours.

In the modern Vinothek in the main building of the winery, wine lovers, winegrowers and visitors alike should feel at home, enjoying a good glass of wine at the bar, but also being able to taste various wines. The focal point of the vinotheque is the elliptical bar counter. It symbolizes a large oak barrel and connects the cosy bar area with the tasting area.

The wine bar Weinschmiede arises from the desire of Arthur Rainer, wine producer at Seeperle and Robert Sinn, wine producer at St. Quirinus, to bring their wines to Kaltern’s village centre. The focus is placed on their own production. However, wine lovers will also find a fine selection of other wines to be purchased or tasted together with small appetizers.

Visit the Ritterhof winery at the Wine Road N°1. The Ritterhof is the right place for wine connoisseurs but also for anyone who would like to become one. Our wine brings people together. Ritterhof cultivate the vines with the greatest of care, the grapes are harvested by hand and turned into the best wines from South Tyrol with passion.

Our wine estate is located only a few steps from Lake Kaltern. The particularly quiet position also includes a nice view on the Leuchtenburg ruin as well as a beautiful surrounding panorama. For the first time the 2017 vintage has been laid in in the newly built wine cellar, where modern cellar techniques meet 700 years old stone vaults. Retail sale. For three generations the restaurant zur Linde belongs to the Dissertori family and is now run by Armin, which is also the chef. He will surprise you with traditional dishes and tasty pizzas carefully prepared with excellent local and fresh ingredients.

The Bistro at the Vineria Castel Sallegg is proud of its excellent Mediterranean cuisine. At midday, our abbreviated bill of fare features cold and hot dishes. In the afternoon, you can choose tapas as an appetizer. On Thursday, the Vineria has extended opening hours for the sale of wine – for relaxing evenings with a splendid view of Kaltern.

Kettmeir winery has been producing top quality wines and sparkling wines since 1919. Its beautiful building, built in the typical architectural style of the area (named Überetscher Baustil), belongs to the most renowned of the South Tyrolean wine world. Guided visits upon request.
