The little church is famous for its coffered ceiling from the 16th century, which depicts a jester in a washtub. The nave has a flat roof and slit windows. The hay baths in Fiè allo Sciliar have been practiced since 1903. During this guided tour, we will tell you about the culture and the healing effect of the hay bath. The hay bath originated from a tradition of the farmers who took their night's lodging in the hay barn during haymaking and noticed that after a night in the hay the tiredness of the previous day was blown away. Those who spend their wellness holidays around the Alpe di Siusi can relax in the hay according to an old tradition. The medicinal herbs such as thyme, arnica, cinquefoil and gentian unfold their full effect when you sweat. The grass for the hay bath, interspersed with the many medicinal herbs, is mown exclusively on unfertilised meadows, early in the morning or late in the evening, in order to preserve all the essential essences.

Guided Biketour - Meran 360° Our 360º tour through the Etsch Valley starts in Algund. From there we ride towards Gratsch and then to the Segenbühel viewing point from where we then head towards Merano. Taking several side roads we reach the cycle track leading to Bolzano. At Gargazon we leave the cycle track and reach the fabulous Brandis golf course, from where we pedal towards Tscherms. At Tscherms we ride uphill towards Lebenberg Castle, where we can look forward to a wonderful view of the Burggrafenamt region. At the Haidenhof inn we take a well-deserved break. A lovely scenic road takes us to Marling and then we return along Nörderstrasse to our starting point in Algund. We do 42 km and 700m of elevation gain

A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German language. After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a collector. Note: Due to Paul Fischnaller's advanced age, the excursion will be led by another experienced collector. Tools are provided by the museum. Hiking boots recommended. Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. In 1492, the present late Gothic wall pillar church was consecrated. Josef Weingartner counts it among the "most beautiful Gothic churches in the country" in his "Art Monuments of South Tyrol". The Gothic winged altar from the workshop of Hans Schnattpereck is a work of art that is known far beyond the borders of the province. Lovingly furnished parlours, chambers and craft workshops tell of hard work, old customs and a life in the rhythm of nature.
