An exciting adventure awaits you during the guided tour of the church tower! From our expert guide Oswald Tröbinger you will not only learn why the church and the tower were built separately, but also have the opportunity to climb the observation tower: 82 meters high, with more than 300 steps - a real flight of fancy! The tour lasts one hour and is a must for every visitor. The tour is only in Italian. However, you can still take part to see the tower from inside.

Participants first walk about 600 meters into the Elisabethstollen, then climb up a staircase (300 steps and 65 vertical meters) in an ore mining shaft to the Lorenzstollen.Then we walk about 400 meters back through the Lorenzstollen to the exit and through a path to the starting point. Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. The Archeopark Villanders is a fascinating archaeological site located at Plunacker, where remains from the Stone Age, Copper Age, Bronze Age, and Roman period have been discovered. Particularly impressive are the prehistoric settlement traces and burial sites, which show that people lived here over 7,000 years ago. The earliest settlement traces are illustrated through the reconstruction of typical buildings and their furnishings from each respective era. The new structures represent a Mesolithic dwelling, a Neolithic hut, and a Rhaetian house.

In the outside area of the Bunker Museum, a spacious enclosure provides an opportunity to watch ibexes from a close distance. These impressive game animals are the unofficial national symbol of the Texelgruppe Nature Park and populate the Hinterpasseier also in the wild. They demonstrate their climbing skills in the rocky terrain at the bunker and hardly let themselves be disturbed by our guests. Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes.
