"Renasciüda" means rebirth in our Ladin mother tongue, and so on this day we celebrate the rebirth of the forest. During this event, everyone can contribute to restoring the terrible consequences of storm Vaia, which devastated an entire wooded area in 2018. On 16 June, we will plant 1,000 trees together to restore the forest. We need your help! What time would you like to participate? Take a look at the 4 time slots below and choose the one that suits you best! The available time slots are: - from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m, - from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m, - from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m, - from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. We have organised a guided hike before each time slot starting from the tourist office in Corvara, allowing participants to walk together to the event location (approx. 40 minutes). For those who prefer to spend the day in a more relaxed way, we offer a shuttle service from the tourist office in Corvara (approx. 10 minutes). If you prefer to come independently, we are waiting for you directly in the WowNature area - Planac area near the Campolongo Pass (please note that car parking spaces are limited, we recommend using the shuttle or the guided hike). From 11.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., the event will be accompanied by local music duo Gota. On the return journey, we have organised a shuttle bus that will take you from the Planac parking areas to the tourist office in Corvara. To participate, we ask for a contribution of 10€ per person, destined for sustainability projects in Alta Badia. Participation is free of charge for up to 10 years. After a short refreshment, the hike continues following a path until you arrive to the clearing Plan dala Sia. The Demetz family has been breeding 40 alpacas, known for their high-quality wool products, since the year 2000. At the beginning of the “Triech” ascent, you can spot a second, hidden waterfall. From Lake Durnholzer See in the Sarntal Valley, we first walk along the lake on the tarmac road. At the Fischerwirt inn, we leave the lake circuit and follow the road and hiking trail in the direction of the Seebalm (bar). Here we can enjoy the solitude and the surrounding mountains. We return to the lake along the same route. Here you have the option of doing the entire circuit of the lake (approx. half an hour) or hiking directly out to Durnholz. Our farmer will guide you through their fields, explains you about the healthy ingredients, the production area and about all sorts and brands of the South Tyrolean apple. Gain insight into the secrets of the apple farmers - from the latest technology of today and the gnarled giants of the past. Afterwards, you can taste for yourself.

If you always wanted to know more about strawberries and their production, you will get interesting information about Val Martello’s strawberries and how they get on the shelf during this guided visit of the trial field.

Have you ever seen the inside of a power station? Did you know how water becomes electricity? In South Tyrol, the Passeiertal Valley and especially the Hinterpasseier Valley is one of the valleys with the most water. For this reason, more than 22 power stations for sustainable energy production have been built in the Hinterpasseier Valley for about a century. One of the oldest is the power station in Rabenstein, which you can visit and explore. The guided tour offers unique insights into the power station and shows how water converted into electricity.

For nature lovers, there is nothing more beautiful than vibrant colors and delightful scents. This tour offers experiences for all the senses: colorful herb fields, aromatic oils wafting into the nose, delightful flavors during tasting, and perfect tranquility. A variety of medicinal plants, wild, flowering and aromatic herbs thrive in the mountain herb garden at the "Wiesenhof" in Pawigl. During a guided tour of the show garden, you will learn how they are used and what effect they have on the human body. Arrival by bus to St.Peter - Villnöss. Here we follow the marker no. 30 on the right and the indication St. Jakob and hike on the narrow asphalt road with the Stations of the Cross slightly ascending to the little church St. Jakob (1,280 m). We continue to follow the road through meadows and woods and reach the Jochhöfe, already mentioned in 1238, which form a small hamlet. One of them is the Jausenstation Moar (1,320 m), where we treat ourselves to a short rest. On the road below the Moar (no. 12) we hike down to the Zinnerhof, on the upper dirt road westward over to the forest and on the marked trail through steep forest down to the wide trail no. 11, on which we reach Teis (962 m) In Teis we visit the mineral museum. Ganze to the stars with us! Every Thursday (depending on the weather) a stargazing tour takes place at the Maseben mountain hut. The Maseben mountain hut can be reached after a two-hour hike with an elevation gain of 400 meters, where we strenghen ourselfes with a dinner and a drink. Afterwards, the star guides will introduce you to the world of the night sky through the telescopes.

The trail leads from Vernagt in the Schnalstal Valley over the dam and down through the forest to the Mastaunhof. We ascend through a beautiful valley to the mountain hut of the same name and stop for refreshments. We then hike back to the Mastaunhof and continue along a forest path past the rustic Raindlhöfe farms to the small hamlet of Karthaus, which was originally built by the Karthäuser family. Our natural and cultural history hike first takes us to Issing. After visiting the church of St Nicholas, we walk along the Pfaffensteig trail to the historic Maurerhof farm. There we take a short visit to the farm museum, which gives us an authentic insight into the way of life in earlier times. We then return to the starting point of the exploration tour. From the first car park next to the Vernagt reservoir, we follow the "Tisenhof" signpost slightly uphill through the meadow slopes to the Tisenhof and from there briefly on to the Rafeinhof. From there, follow the path, which is narrow and slightly exposed in places, but good and equipped with a rope railing, to the Finail farmstead (snack station). From there, continue to the "Gerstgrasshöfe" and then slightly downhill to the Schnalser Talstraße, here via a wooden staircase up to the aforementioned suspension bridge and, crossing the slope for the most part, out to the dam and back to the car park.
