Glaciers, strawberries and culture await visitors to the Laces - Martelltal holiday region. The main village of the region, Laces, with its easygoing urban vibe, is the starting-off point for an eventful holiday. From here, a panoramic journey with the cable car to the mountain farming village of San Martino/St. Martin is possible, as are longer journeys to the villages of Coldrano/Goldrain, Morter, Tarres/Tarsch or the idyllic Martelltal valley. The valley starts at 950 m above sea level and soars to its 3,769 m peak at the Cevedale glacier. The Martelltal valley is part of the Stilfserjoch national park and offers countless hiking and biking trails. The Erdbeerweg trail is a thematic walk through Europe’s highest interconnected strawberry farming region.
