The taste most people know from real Italian pesto is absolutely delicious in sweets.

Pine Nut Kisses

Basic information

  • Preparation time: 00:40 h.
  • Persons: 6


    • 2 egg whites
    • 140 g icing sugar
    • 11 pinch of salt
    • 125 g pine nuts
    • 10 g vanilla sugar


  • Whisk together egg whites, icing sugar and salt over a warm water bath until mixture forms into thick foam; stir in the pine nuts and season with vanilla sugar.
  • Place a spoonful of the pine-nut mixture onto each wafer, and bake in preheated oven.

Baking Temperature: 120 degrees Celcius ,baking Time: 40 minutes

A special tip:

You can also make pine nut kisses without the wafers. Variation :Walnut Kisses: Instead of pine nuts, use coarsely chopped walnuts.
