Pine Nut Kisses
The taste most people know from real Italian pesto is absolutely delicious in sweets.
- Preparation time: 00:40 h.
- Persons: 6
- 2 egg whites
- 140 g icing sugar
- 11 pinch of salt
- 125 g pine nuts
- 10 g vanilla sugar
- Whisk together egg whites, icing sugar and salt over a warm water bath until mixture forms into thick foam; stir in the pine nuts and season with vanilla sugar.
- Place a spoonful of the pine-nut mixture onto each wafer, and bake in preheated oven.
Baking Temperature: 120 degrees Celcius ,baking Time: 40 minutes
A special tip:You can also make pine nut kisses without the wafers. Variation :Walnut Kisses: Instead of pine nuts, use coarsely chopped walnuts.
