    With a total length of 6.75 kilometres, the Brimi Winter Run on Mt. Gitschberg is one of the longest toboggan runs in South Tyrol. It leads from the Nesselhütte hut – near the Gitschberg cable car mountain terminal – to Meransen. If you don’t have a toboggan with you, or you simply prefer to travel light, you can rent one at the Gitschberg-Nesselbahn lift terminal.

    From Antermoia drive uphill towards Passo delle Erbe. After about 2 km you reach a large car park to your left with a sign “trù dla liösa”. From there you continue on foot on the main road. At the first bend follow the hiking path that takes you to Passo delle Erbe within about an hour.

    You can also get to Passo delle Erbe by car.

    Toboggans can be hired at the ski piste in Antermoia.

    With a total length of 3 km, the toboggan run of the skiing and hiking resort of Merano 2000 is ideal for families and fun group outings. The winter-time sledding track starts directly at the ropeway mountain station and leads through a picturesque forest all the way down to the valley station in Falzeben, where tireless sledgers can conveniently hop on the Falzeben gondola lift and return to the mountain station.

    Toboggans can be rented at the ropeway mountain station and in Falzeben.

    Natural toboggan run "Tru liösa Foram" in San Cassiano
    Badia, Dolomites Region Alta Badia

    The Tru Liösa Foram natural sledging trail starts on the Piz Sorega (2,003 m) and goes across fields and through woods beneath the Piz Sorega gondola lift to San Cassiano (1,537 m). The scenery along the route is quite enchanting: from the snowy Alpine pastures of the high plateau, you reach the Foram forest before a final spurt takes you down into the valley.

    The average gradient on the sledging trail is about 10 to 15%. To keep sledging fans safe, 2.3 km of the sledging track has been protected with legally compliant timber edging.

    The start of the trail can be reached by the Piz Sorega gondola lift from San Cassiano.

    At the Family Funpark at the Speikboden Ski Area, the adventure park for kids in the valley station, the little ones will have a lot of fun! Whether skiing, tobogganing, or a speedy ride on the bobsleigh - the easy slope offers plenty of space to romp around! The two conveyor belts Leni and Toni take care of the ascent. The park consists of:

    • a conveyor belt 120m long
    • a conveyor belt 70m long
    • a big castle in which there is a playground with slides, tunnels and much more
    • slopes for sleds and bobs
    • snowpark with easy elements (waves, curves, tunnels)
    • and of course an easy ski slope for beginners

    The toboggan run starts at 1900 meters and leads along a 5-km-long run of medium difficulty back to the starting point. The descent is identical to the path of ascension and consists of fantastic curves. An ideal winter excursion for the whole family. Note: You can shorten the ascent by taking the bus from Ranui to Zans and then hiking along the footpath to the hut Glatsch Alm. The Dusler hut is closed during the winter!

      Perfectly groomed and secured sled runs offer pleasant rides for children and adults. For unbridled joy on your sled, safety should always come first: max-performance ski goggles, sturdy shoes and a helmet are recommended for both children and adults. Anyone sledding at night should always take a flashlight. Minors are required to wear a safety helmet.
