    Green Events: Sustainable South Tyrol

    "Green events" are events that are planned, organised and implemented according to environmentally friendly criteria. Regional value creation, resource efficiency, waste management, mobility and social responsibility are the key factors.

    A summer evening all about associations and culture with music, culinary delights and more in the center of Unterinn. Program: 7 p.m. Punch and Judy show and make-up corner with the theater group. "Goaßlschnöllen" - artistic whip-cracking by the Unterinn Goaslschnöller. 8 p.m. Fire brigade parade by the Unterinn voluntary fire brigade. Music: Unterinn band & choir "Ton in Ton". Summer on the Ritten also this year is enriched by a series of evening events called "Rittner Sunnenseitn". There are three evenings under the stars and each evening is dedicated to a different motto. Meet up with friends, enjoy the evenings and experience the culture, tradition, handicraft, fun, delicious and unforgettable evenings!

    27th Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run

    The famouse mountain run from Sesto to the Rifugio Locatelli on Saturday 14 of September will take place for the 27th time. The original route takes the maximum of 1000 participants over 17 kilometres with an elevation profile of 1333 metres on perfectly signed paths from Sesto through the stunning mountains of the Sesto Dolomites to the finish at the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli, just below the three impressive peaks that are known all over the world.

    In the weeks before Christmas, you can feel a very special flair in Brixen. Snow glistens from the surrounding mountain peaks into the valley and the pistes on the local mountain Plose are also ready for the first ski turns. When it slowly gets darker, you can no longer escape the Christmas atmosphere in Brixen. The atmospheric lights in the streets of the town and the decorated. The smell of mulled wine made from regional ingredients, warm soup and biscuits brings locals and guests to the cathedral Square of Brixen. From 29.11.2024 – 06.01.2025 at Italy's oldest Christmas Market you can find products that were mainly made or finished in South Tyrol.     Christmas Market in Bruneck

    The traditional Christmas market takes place from 26th November 2021 to 6th January 2022 in the town centre of Brunico. The guests will find lovely decorated stands with arts and craft, sweet treats and handmade gifts as well as several culinary delights at the Christmas market.     Gran Fondo Val Casies - Gsieser Tal Lauf

    The Gsiesertal Lauf is one of the best-known and best-loved ski marathons in the entire Alpine region. It is the second largest ski marathon in Italy, and is held on the 3rd weekend in February in the Gsies Valley, South Tyrol (Italy). Ever since it was first held back in 1984, this race has never once been cancelled due to weather conditions. In 2021, the event was cancelled for reasons of force majeure (Corona). The event attracts a great deal of international skiers, with a good forty nations at the starting line every year and a great many World and Olympic Champions listed on the roll of honour. The race runs along two routes, one of 30 km and one of 42 km; the classic race is held on Saturday and the skating race on Sunday. The amateur “Just for Fun” group. with none of the stress of rankings and timekeeping, is also extremely popular, and the programme of events also includes the “Gsiesertal-KIDS-run” on Saturday.
