Since its opening in 1903, the Mendel cable car has connected the valley station in St. Anton with the biking paradise of the Mendel Pass. Technical data: 2.37 km distance, 12 min. traveling time, 850 m altitude variance.
The Mendel Cable Car starts every 20 min (from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). You find the timetable on the website www.sii.bz.it.
Please note: Dogs are generally allowed on the Mendel Cable Car. Service dogs such as guide dogs and other small animals, which can be held in the arm or transported in a cage or container with the max. dimensions of 70x30x50 cm, can travel for free. For dogs taller than 50 cm and longer than 70 cm, the standard fare ticket will be applied and it is obligatory to use a muzzle. For small sized dogs instead the use of a muzzle is at the train conductor’s discretion.
