Wine is the centre of attention in Castelfeder along the South Tyrolean Wine Road: The landscape is characterised by idyllic vineyards where you can sample Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer in the many inviting wineries, vineyards, restaurants and inns. The ruin mound of Castelfeder is cloaked in fable and offers visitors a fantastic view over the Etschtal valley. Additional hiking possibilities of various degrees of difficulty can be found in the Trudner Horn nature park with its diverse flora and fauna.
