Archery Circuit at Hocheppan Castle
The first arrows were fired from the bow strings at Hocheppan Castle (Schloss Hocheppan) over 900 years ago. This tradition continues today in the form of an archery circuit. The castle and the start of the archery circuit can be reached after a short hike. After registering and renting archery equipment, the fun begins. The circuit, beginning at a pond in a cool deciduous forest and comprising 28 stations, leads past unbelievable viewpoints featuring the Schlern and Rosengarten massifs, the Hocheppan Castle and Bolzano/Bozen’s valley basin. The circuit brings you back to the archery rental and registration area.
