from center

The Spring Promenadeis a beautiful circular walk in Salurn. Several information boards raise awareness of the gold of the 21st century. The waterfall is the highlight of this walk.

Itinerary

Around the year 1600, Salurn was already described as a place with beautiful springs and fresh water. That is still true today. The water for the public water system originates far up in the forest, next to the Steinhauser Valley (the Foàch and the Pra da Mont springs), as well as at various places in Ausserbuchholz (the Vettori and the Barbi springs). At the southern entrance to Salurn, there is also the Klaus deep spring whose water is fed into the drinking water network in times of water scarcity. The hamlets of Buchholz/Pochi and Gfrill/Cauria have their own drinking water network.
