This circular hike starts at the Frommer Alm hut and first leads through shady forest sections to the Nigerpass | Passo Nigra, before continuing with a gentle ascent to the idyllic Messnerjoch hut. Nestled in wide alpine meadows and framed by the impressive Dolomite peaks, the hut invites you to take a relaxing break. While adults can enjoy homemade specialties on the sunny terrace, children can have fun at the small playground. The return to the Frommer Alm hut follows a gentle descent through meadows and open forest. To round off the tour, the Frommer Alm hut also spoils you with typical South Tyrolean delicacies and offers children another chance to play.
Getting to the starting point of the tour by public transport is easy and convenient.

- 187 from Steinegg | Collepietra, Gummer | San Valentino (or 182 and change 180)
