Along rusty red stones to the iron spring that rises on the border between phylite schist and porphyry.

Itinerary

By foot or by car follow the road to Flitz until you reach the last farms. Follow the signs "Zur Eisenquelle" (trail No. 31/31A).
At first the trail leads up to the stream with rust-colored (iron oxide) stones, then continues left to the spring.
From the parking lot to the spring takes about half an hour.
