Unforgettable hike through the remote Peder Valley to the Schildhütte and Dosso di Peder.
This hike starts in Alta Val Martello. Behind Gasthaus Enzian you take path no.20 on the left into the remote Peder Valley. Continue uphill on the same path until you hear the rush of the Rio Peder. The solitary quiet, the rush of the brook and the unspoilt natural landscape invite you to dream. You then reach the dilapidated Schildhütte. Turn right und follow the path to Dosso di Peder (2,585m) where you can enjoy a marvelous view of the surrounding glaciers. On your return, you can stop at the Lyfi Mountain Hut to enjoy a typical South Tyrolean dish.
