The Sas dla Crusc/Santa Croce mountain in Badia is probably one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites. The little church at the feet of the mighty massif is one of the most popular subjects in photographs of the Dolomites.
The route follows hiking trail no. 7, ascending past the La Crusc 1 lift and the La Crusc 2 cable car. The trail meanders through gently rolling meadows and sparse woodlands, with the impressive Sasso di Santa Croce always visible ahead. The first segment of the climb is on asphalt (approximately 1.5 km), transitioning to a well-maintained gravel path.
For the return to Badia, you can choose from various alternative routes or descend using the La Crusc 1 chairlift and the La Crusc 2 cable car.
