The parish of Trafoi invites you to the Trafoi Advent Market on November 23, 2025 Starting at 10:30 AM with Holy Mass in the parish church of Trafoi, with music by the Stilfs parish choir. Afterwards: - Hot soup - Homemade sausage with sauerkraut - Coffee, cakes, and Krapfen - Roasted chestnuts & mulled wine - Live music with Albert And of course, handmade Advent wreaths again this year.

Maybe it’s the special atmosphere or the wonderful memories that let us love the Christmastime, but also the Christmas bells spread the magic – it’s simply the happiest time of the year. Sterzing in the north of Southtyrol is surrounded by the beautiful sound of ringing bells in all its forms and sounds. The Capuchin Garden with the Sterntaler Christmas Market is already open from 10.00 a.m. on the first day of Advent - the official ceremonial opening takes place at 5.00 p.m.. A Christmas theatre performance will frame the festivities.

The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

The Christmas Village opens its doors on all four Advent weekends, from 28/11 to 23/12/2025 from Friday to Sunday. Candle after candle form a luminous path through the winding alleys. The flair of bygone eras emanates from every corner and the romantic old town becomes a very special backdrop for a very special Christmas market thanks to its natural and authentic decorations. At the Christmas village in Klausen, the stalls are hidden behind fir branches and in old cellars, where you can buy local products. And there will also be plenty of culinary offerings as well as an extensive program. Our Christmas market, the Alpine Advent Sarntal Valley, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year in Val Sarentino, the visitors of our Christmas street market will be enchanted by a myriad of Christmas trees. 20 wooden stands will display the traditional, handcrafted and unique products made in Val Sarentino, while the food and wine stands will offer local goodies such as sweet and airy Krapfen, Striezl (Sarentino-style fried bread) and rye bread. The Christmassy feeling will be heightened by music bands and carol singers and in addition there will be a hands-on workshop and animation shows for the children.

On weekends and public holidays, the village square of Kastelruth transforms into a magical Christmas world. At eight lovingly decorated stalls, visitors can enjoy mulled wine, delicious Christmas cookies, handmade decorations, jams, wooden crafts and much more. Live music fills the square with festive sounds, adding to the holiday spirit. Children will also be delighted: right next to the market, the ice rink invites everyone to enjoy cheerful skating from 10:30 am - 7:00 pm. GLORENZA ADVENT MARKET Under the motto "Lights-Smells-Sounds" the Advent market will finally take place again in Glurns. Time for contemplation and culinary highlights.
