In the valley of the 80 three-thousanders

The Tauferer Ahrntal/Val di Tures is one of the most quaint and snow-sure valleys in South Tyrol. Moreover, it is home to mountaineering legend Hans Kammerlander and alpinist Simon Gietl. Romantic hiking trails to remote places like the St. Spirit pilgrimage church at the head of the valley, once a miners' church. An easy hiking trail for children and adults leads from Weißenbach/Rio Bianco to the Wurmtal valley Alpine pastures. After a pit stop at a hut and enjoying local specialties such as the typical Ahrntal cheese you’ll tobogganing in the Ahrntal valley very often.
