Go to Compatsch centre on trail n. 30, which starts behind the Franziskus church, Hans-und-Paula-Steger-Trail, and walk parallel to the road towards the east. Below the Hotel Steger cross the road and continue to follow trail n. 30, past Hotel Steger and the adjacent Steger pond.
Immediately after the pond, turn left into path n. 6B and walk further passing by the Malga Tuene you will find another fork. Follow path n. 6, slightly ascending westwards passing by the Heualm/Malga del Fieno – surrounded by the enchanting panorama of Seiser Alm – up to Mountain Hotel Panorama.
Continuing path n. 6, after about 20 minutes you will reach Malga Laurin. The view to the Schlern in west, as well as to the Rosszähne in the south is impressive. Shortly after leaving Malga Laurin, turn right into path n 5B. Follow this slightly downhill until you come to the Sciliar Trail n. 10 after approx. 300 m. It leads you in pleasant hike eastwards, crossing the extensive alpine meadows, back to Compatsch.
Refreshment stop along the hiking trail. Pram-friendly.

Bus n. 1 from Seis am Schlern, n. 2 from Völs am Schlern, n. 3 from Kastelruth or by bus line no. 170 from Bozen Bus Station or Brixen Bus Station to the bus stop of the Seis-Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway at Seis.
