Starting from St. Anton/S. Antonio, a steep forest path at the beginning leads past the Gringer Wiese to the Platschjoch, where it then runs only slightly upwards past the Gostjöchl to the chapel below the Jaufensteg/Passo Giovo. Very nice views into the valleys Ratschingstal/Val Racines and Jaufental/Val Giovo. From the chapel you can descend towards Schluppes/Casalupa into the valley and hike back to the starting point.
Public bus 318 Sterzing - Jaufental
Coming from Sterzing/Vipiteno follow the signs to Jaufental. Turn left in Gasteig/Casateia and follow the street for about 1 km.
