The route, which takes about 2:30h, leads along a forest and meadow path from San Pietro in Valle to the Unterpulghut.

Itinerary

From San Pietro in Valle (969m) take trail no. 36, always slightly ascending, to San Pietro (1212m). Once there, follow always trail no. 36 uphill through woods and meadows until Unterpulghut (1580m, refreshments available). After an extensive rest, you can take the same path back to the starting point. Alternatively, you can walk to Pontives and from there take the bus back to San Pietro in Valle.

Directions

Coming from the north you will reach our region via Munich - Kufstein - Innsbruck - Brenner - Klausen (exit Chiusa / Val Gardena) - the SS to Ponte Gardena - SS Val Gardena until you reach the village San Pietro in Valle.
