Take the cable car from Lana and then the chairlift to Restaurant
Seggiovia at 1,814 meters. Trail No. 4 leads you past the San Vigilio
Church, and then No. 9 and No. 9A lead to the Malga di Naturno.
Next stop is the Malga Bagno dell’Orso, which is reached by taking
trails No. 9B, No. 9 and No. 2 in the direction of Bagno dell’Orso (be
careful not to take No. 2 in the Guggenberg direction). From here
trails No. 34B and then No. 34A lead towards the valley until the
Unteren Quellenweg, No. 1, which passes directly in front of Ida
Stube at vigilius mountain resort, and leads to the top station of the
cable car.
Getting to San Vigilio
BY BUS AND TRAIN
The Lana bus station lies in close proximity
to the valley station of the cable car. It is well
connected to public transport, with good connections
to the stations at Marlengo, Merano
and Lana/Postal.
BY CAR
Take the Merano-Bolzano (MEBO) expressway, exit at
Merano Sud and drive towards Lana. The entrance to the
valley station of the San Vigilio Cable Car is 100 m further,
on the right-hand side.
