From the Taser via the Streitweide to the Haashof Mountain Inn

Prenn/Prenn, Schenna/Scena, Meran/Merano and environs

This family hike along the Taser High Mountain Trail with beautiful panoramic views leads to the Haashof Mountain Inn. At the Haashof, the homemade dumplings are very popular. In summer there is always a children's day with clown.
Itinerary
You float up to the Taser Alm with the Taser cable car. Once there, you hike past the Taser Alm to the Taser Chapel and continue on the Taser High Trail (No. 40). Through the forest and below the Streitweider Alm, you follow the path to Videgg until you reach the Haashof. The return trip (about an hour) follows the access road to Tall to the Verdins cable car, which takes you back to Verdins.

Hiking boots

Rest stops along the way: Taser Alm, Haashof, Hiaslbauer, Oberkirn.
Please check the current opening hours at the tourist office or the Schenna App.

At the cable car ticket office, you can purchase the Taser - Verdins combiticket.
  • Bus line 231 from Merano to Schenna (bus stop: center)
  • Bus line 233 or 234 from Schenna to the valley station of the cable car Taser.
For the return from Verdins:
  • Bus line 231 to Schenna and Merano
  • Bus line 234 to Schenna
