Speed Hiking Trail from the valley station of the Meran 2000 funicular to the summit station.
The Speed Hiking trail begins at the parking place in Naiftal/Val di Nova near the valley station of the Meran 2000 funicular. On the opposite side of the road the trail no. 3 leads up to the summit station of the funicular.
The trail is very long and in short sections steep climb.
With the bus until the bus stop "Bergbahn Meran 2000":

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano - Bolzano/Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo. Follow the street until the valley station of the Meran 2000 funicular.
