Village-walk in Welschnofen | Nova Levante

The starting point is at the car park of the cable car Welschnofen | Nova Levante. At the beginning of the parking area, right next to the archway, follow path [7] until you reach the first path junction. From there, continue through the forest on path [3A] and the Nigertalweg path until you arrive at hotel Rechenmachers Rosengarten. Directly in front of the hotel, path [15] branches off, leading once again through quiet woodland back into the settlement area of Welschnofen | Nova Levante. The route then follows path [5] above the village, past the traditional farms Ratzöhler, Zyprian, Vöstl, and Tschandl, until you reach the Panoramahotel Niggl. From there, take path [2], which passes the Charmehotel Friedrich. The following promenade continues along a pleasant gravel path lined with meadows and old trees, before joining a narrow paved road. Continue straight ahead on path [2], pass a few houses, and then turn left onto a meadow path, which leads to the main road (Gummererstraße | via San Valentino) just before Pension Erna. The return to the village center and the cable car station is along the sidewalk.

Short variant (buggy-friendly):
At the upper end of the cable car parking lot, cross the bridge and pass a playground. At the road junction there, take path [4A], which later continues as path [5]. The rest of the route follows the same path as described above.
