Mountain Cinema in the Eggental - Steineggerhof

From the village square in Steinegg|Collepietra, the trail [2 | 7 | 8] starts towards Wiedenhof at the Lex Market shop. At the beginning you cross a residential area, then join a forest and meadow path with wonderful views. Follow path [8] until you reach the junction with path [8A] towards Spitzköfele, which you follow. The Spitzköfele is a wonderful viewpoint in the middle of the forest with seating and invites you to take a short break. Ascend briefly and turn left to reach trail [6], which you continue to hike down to the left. You reach the Kummerhof farm and walk down the farm access road into the village. As soon as you reach the main road, take a short right towards the "Weißes Bild" chapel, cross the road there and walk up to the Hotel Steineggerhof along path [2B].

Behind the Steineggerhof Hotel, a small path [2B] leads towards the forest, where you will immediately come across the "Steineggerhof" Mountain Cinema. The magnificent view of the Ritten|Renon, the Eisack|Isarco Valley, Raschötz|Rasciesa, Seiser Alm|Alpe di Siusi, Schlern|Sciliar, Hammerwand|Croda del Maglio, Tschafon|Monta Cavone and Rosengarten|Rosengarten will inspire you. Follow trail [2B] to the Pstosser Bühl forest playground and enjoy a wonderful view over the village of Steinegg|Collepietra towards Bozen|Bolzano. At the cross with a heart, which is lit by the "Schützen" at the Feast of the Sacred Heart, trail [2B] descends to the right into the village and you reach the starting point.
