Nice hiking to three fantastic viewpoints.
Change of path along the hike: 1, 5A, 5, 1
From the Schneiderwiesen hotel (parking possibilities) follow paths no. 1 and 5A, and after a walk of about 45 minutes you'll reach the Titschenwarte lookout point. From here you have a beautiful view of the Dolomites. Stay on path no. 5 where you reach a crossroads, from there path no. 1 takes you to the scenic views of Rotwand and Rotenstein. Go back to the fork and follow path no. 1 that brings you back to the inn.
A shorter version of this circular walk is possible by visiting only one of these three vantage points, starting from Schneiderwiesen and then returning to the starting point via the same route.
Coming from the south:
Take the highway exit "Egna/Ora/Termeno-Neumarkt/Auer/Tramin" and follow the signs "Bolzano/Laives-Bozen/Leifers" for approx. 15 km. Drive through the tunnel of Laives/Leifers and then take the first exit, which leads to the roundabout of Pineta/Steinmannwald. Follow the signs for "La Costa/Seit" on an initially steep, then serpentine road for about 20 minutes until you reach the Schneiderwiesen inn.
Coming from the north:
Take the highway exit "Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd" and then follow the signs for "Trento/Laives - Trient/Leifers" for approx. 10 km. After the tunnel connecting Bolzano/Bozen and Laives/Leifers at the roundabout in Pineta/Steinmannwald, follow the signs for "La Costa/Seit" on an initially steep, then serpentine road for about 20 minutes until you reach the Schneiderwiesen inn.
